I have sat here and debated on my review. I was toying with the idea of 4 Stars. But, I absolutely hate this. I so wanted to love this book but I just couldn\’t. So I went with 3 Stars. Staying neutral. And if I have to hear them say they\’re best friends one more time…I\’ll strangle them. I get it, we know. You are BEST FRIENDS! First off let me say- there is NO CHEATING in this book. I am so mad at Cooper right now. He is the World\’s biggest coward. He waits until the day Reese is marrying Hunter to profess his love. They go back and forth. I was so tired of being dizzy. She wants him. He wants her. But he doesn\’t want to ruin their friendship. I wanted to scream- GET OVER IT AND TELL HER!!! Or better yet, she could have said something herself. I was not a fan of Cooper having girlfriends. And Reese having a boyfriend then a fianc. I kinda lost interest that they weren\’t each other\’s firsts. I think I could have done without this book and just read Bliss. I don\’t mind best friends turning lovers. I was not a fan of them growing up, having relationships, careers all by the way of being friends. I was so frustrated with both Cooper and Reese. I really liked Hunter. He was a really great guy. And now Reese is going to break his heart by not marrying him. I think she should have stuck with Hunter. He loved her. She loved him. He did everything right. She should have just stayed friends with Cooper. I hate I was not a fan. The drama was a bit too much.

I\’m sitting her, balling my eyes out! Big, ugly tears! I knew, with this being a duet, before I even opened this one, that there would be a cliffie. And we all know that I do not like those at all. But, I also knew this author would make it worth it in the end. So opened it up, and started reading. Cooper and Reese. Reese and Cooper. They have been besties since early childhood. And that\’s all it was. These two tugged at my heart strings. It was hard to see how much it hurt each of them, holding their feelings back, not admitting them, even to themselves. They grew up together, went to college together, and then adulthood reared its ugly head. People grow up and move apart, move on with their lives. Nothing stays the same. This book was perfectly named. Their heartache killed me! Put my emotions through the ringer! Their connection was beautiful to see, but still hard to watch at the same time. It is definitely not one to read at work, or in public, because it will bring out those tears! And definitely be ready for a cliffie, because their story isn\’t finished! It\’s really just getting started, and I can\’t wait for their HEA!

Audiobook Agony (Entangled Hearts Duet #1) by Kaylee Ryan

What an amazing story. The title says it all! I will tell you it\’s a 2 parter but once I started, I couldnt seem to put it down. Cooper and Reese had me intrigued right from the very beginning. They were easy to relate to, and I felt as though I could connect easily with them. I felt this book was very well written, and the characters were completely lovable. I can\’t wait for the conclusion. Thanks so much for the escape. It\’s definitely 5 stars for this story and it definitely needs to be on your TBR list now!! I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review.

Audio Agony (Entangled Hearts Duet #1) narrated by Melissa Moran Parker Lang

Agony by Kaylee Ryan is the first book in her new Entangled Hearts duet and it was an emotional and angsty read that I devoured even as it broke my heart. Cooper and Reese have been the best of friends and always there for each other. They cared deeply for one another, but neither wanted to lose what they had. So instead they hid their feelings. But where will that lead them? Can they remain friends or find what they can be before it is too late? Now I am sitting here waiting for book two because that ending! Another must-read from Kaylee Ryan. Happy reading!

Well now that my heart is shredded I need the next book so I can attempt to put the pieces back together! I fell in love with Cooper from the first page. He is just such a sweet guy. If only he saw what was right in front of him and let himself feel what was so clearly there! Hunter is a good guy, just not the guy for Reese. I will be constantly watching the calendar for the second book in this duet because right now I just want to sit over there in the corner and cry at the torment of the wait to see what is next to come. I read this book in one sitting and I am sure I will be the same way when we get Bliss.
