Chasing Bliss (Nights in Bliss, Colorado #7)

I love Bliss, Colorado where eveveryone is tolerent and all the Males are HOT just like the stories. I highly recommend this book and this series you get updates on all the couples you have read about in each book. Gemma was a big time lawyer until the day she had a melt down involving her ex-fiancee. She had a life plan and even though she didn\’t love him she knew he fit into her plan just right. After the melt down she eneded up in Bliss where she found many three person marriages where the women always got two men. This idea intrigued her nut she didn\’t know who she would ed up with. Jesse is a mechanic at the local garage and one day Gemma has to bring in a cop car for repairs. He likes Gemma immediately even though she is scarcastic, rud, and a little snobish. He\’s not put off by her and decides to date her. Gemma is not going to get close to the locals since she is going back to New York City in a few months but the idea of two HOT males wanting her is enough of a reason to stick it out for a while. Cade is not impressed with Gemma but hus best friend us and they have always shared women. He decides he will hang around until Jesse and Gemma become a couple and then he will leave town. after all what could they offer a big time attorney? He thinks Jesse is just reaching too high. But then Gemma past comes calling.

Every trip we get to take into the quirky town of Bliss, CO makes me so happy. I love this town and all the people who live there. Lexi Blake always manages to treat us to memorable characters, some laughs to keep the crazy going and a bit of suspense to keep it all interesting! When Gemma finds herself in this town to help out her mom, she realizes that the people are a bit different, even a bit weird, but it is those differences that make the town special. When she meets Jesse and Cade, the two sexy mechanics, she likes the ‘sweet one’ but the ‘bare chested ape’, not so much. First impressions can be deceiving and the more she thinks about that bare chest and the hot, sweet one, she realizes that she is attracted to them both. In turn both Jesse and Cade find that they like the sassy, yet sweet Gemma and they realize they both want her too! And in Bliss these threesome relationships seem the norm so now they all need to decide if they want to put their pasts behind them and find their happily ever after together!

After seeing her career as a successful lawyer in NY go up in smoke Gemma heads to Bliss to be with her mother. When she arrives, she plans for it be temporary and she has no intention of getting close to anyone as her past has shown her that her judgement when it comes to men is lacking. Before too long long circumstances have her working at the Sheriff’s office and she fits right in with the eccentric people in this town. Jesse and Cade came to town to ensure that justice was served, and they are now working as mechanics. They both have painful pasts however the guilt from Cade’s past has made him feel that he is unworthy of being happy. From the beginning Jesse knew that Gemma was meant to be theirs and now he only needed to convince Cade and Gemma which gets even more complicated when a threat from her past resurfaces. Full of action, suspense and heat not only do we get to watch the romance between Gemma, Jesse and Cade unfold but we also get to meet up with the characters in Bliss that we know and love.

I just love my visits to Bliss! I get laughs, action, suspense, the town and it’s brand of crazy and some hot steamy action between a lucky woman and her two men. That’s the way they do it in Bliss after all. This book features Gemma Wells, a disgraced Manhattan attorney who brought her sick mama to her hometown and two mechanics, Jesse McCann and Cade Sinclair. These men met when they were placed in foster care at a sweet woman’s home and chose each other as brothers. They have spent their adult years traveling around the country partying and sharing their woman. One is running but both have baggage. Gemma hides behind her “Ice Princess” persona and is trying to get her life back after going postal on her cheating fiancé and his girlfriend. Things are certainly happening in Bliss and you don’t want to miss the action.

As always this offering of Lexi\’s is super! She has never let me down. Believe me I have a lot of proof, 77 books of her\’s in my \”collection\” is a (as the commercial says) \”my body of proof\”. \”Chasing Bliss\” is super. I had so much fun reading this book. Getting to know Jesse, Cade and Gemma was a ball. Meeting again all the other folks from Bliss was so much fun. Have not forgotten Jack Barnes at all. The ending ( sorry no hints) is so much fun. So download this recent book of Lexi\’s, sit back and spend some most enjoyable time with the crowd from Bliss. Don\’t skimp – get the \”Siren\” series too. Oh he… just go for it.
