Deadly Fallout is Book 10 in the Red Stone Security Series great suspense and action in this continuing book series by Katie Reus. This book can be read as a stand-alone. You dont have to read the other books in the series to enjoy it. Dr. Zoe Hansen (Vincents (Protecting His Witness) sister) has a stalker. Her stalker is a married doctor that she used to work with. She thinks he is gone from her life but he unexpectedly shows back up thinking that he can pick up where he left off. When the stalker/doctor is brutally murdered Zoe is fingered for the crime but is able to clear her name. Zoe is still in danger from the unknown killer. Sawyer makes it his personal mission to keep Zoe safe. Zoe is not sure whether she wants his protection Sawyer and her brother Vincent have a history not a good one. Sawyer has to overcome Zoes mistrust and doubt of his willingness to help her. With the killer still on the loose and a target on Zoes back will Sawyer be able to keep her safe? The action and suspense in this latest Red Stone installment were great. The story has some plot twists that you wont really see coming. Overall a good, suspenseful read.

Ms. Reus writing is so realistic that you can feel the victim that Zoe feels as her stocker gets closer and closer. You add that she is attracted to her bodyguard, Sawyer McCabe and you have the ingredients of a great romance mystery.

He is a former Navy Seal and they have known each other through her brother and she knows she shouldnt have feeling, desire and a chemistry with him, but she does. However, she will keep that all-in check. Sawyer is determined to get Zoe out of town and protect her at all costs.

Sawyer has decided that he wants Zoe safe and then he wants to keep her in his arms forever. Can he protect her from a deadly stocker? Find out and dont miss this installment.

Deadly Fallout is a Red Stone Security novella and just as enjoyable as I expected. I have read all the Red Stone Security books and have been a fan of Katie Reus for quite awhile now. Her stories are involved and there is always a bit of suspense, but you quickly realize that the romance is the main plot. This book involved Zoe, a doctor who is being stalked and Sawyer who has retired from the Navy Seals after 20 years and is now working for Red Stone Security. Because she is being stalked and is good friends with Mina who is married to Blue ( from a previous book), she needs someone to watch out for her and that is how Sawyer gets involved. The plot takes off from there. I love the familiarity of the characters but you certainly don’t have to have read any of the previous books to enjoy this one. Another fun read by Katie Reus

Katie Reus did a remarkable job with her Red Stone Security series…..Zoe and Sawyer’s love story was a great way to end the series.

Love how despite being able to take of herself and being a strong woman when her best friend Blue saw her crying it surprised him and he made sure she had the best man for the job looking after her….Sawyer.

Zoe’s stalker was so caught up in his delusional world that he didn’t realized he had a stalker of his own…The way Sawyer and Zoe took care of the threat the latter was facing was well done.

Love the fact that Vincent and Sawyer put their differences aside and apologized to each other cause they both wanted the same thing…..Zoe’s happiness.

In the end all the Red Stone Security members got their happy endings…..A must read!

Deadly fallout is the 10th book in the Red Stone Security series but could be read as a standalone. I love this series and it’s always a quick, enjoyable book with great characters, a good suspense story and plenty of romance. The characters in this book were very likable, believable and mature. I enjoyed the stalker story line and thought that the portrayal of how Zoe felt was realistic and moving. I adored Sawyer who was just the right mix of protective, caring and understanding. I felt the chemistry between the characters as well. This is one of my favorite romantic suspense series.
