I have been waiting for Adam and Seth\’s story ever since I finished book one. I was soooo excited to see the audiobook that I one clicked it and stared it right away. OMG!! These guys exhausted me with their back and forth!!! But as emotionally exhausting as their story was, it was also emotionally rewarding!!! Their HEA is hard won and their journey is unforgettable. The heat between these two should come with a warning label!!! BEST SEX SCENES EVER!!! I wanted more!!! Although I listened to the story, I have to say that I am totally in love with the author\’s writing. It\’s soooo real that is speaks to my soul. I loved the flavor of the dialogue. It was refreshing, and I couldn\’t get enough. High praise to both Jacob Morgan (who I was already familiar with) and Benjamin Charles (who was new to me). They both performed stunningly!!! They added to the feels and heat! I NEED MORE M/M by M. Jay Granberry!!!

Such a great story. The narration was so good. Adams backstory was sad and frightening. I felt the tender moments and the sadness in their voices. Benjamin Charles was a new to me narrator and I loved him. Jacob Morgan was perfect as always. The family you make – it’s so true

Audiobook Exquisitely Hidden (Sin City Tales #2) by M. Jay Granberry

I absolutely loved reading and listening to Exquisitely Broken by M. Jay Granberry, so when I had a chance to listen to Exquisitely Hidden I was very excited to get Adam and Seth’s story. We get teases in this first book, but please note this one can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend the first book. I loved it. Adam has a secret. One he hides well, but when Seth enters his life, can he still hide behind his secrets? Adam and Seth had an intense chemistry. The issue? Seth came out a long time ago and is open about who he is. Adam has kept his sexuality a secret because he is afraid of how it will impact his life. Seth wants Adam but does not want to be a secret. So begins their push and pull. Adam and Seth are each as stubborn as they come. Can they find their happily-ever-after? Narrated by Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles, they truly brought to life Adam and Seth and I could not stop listening. I truly loved their story so much. Happy listening!

Audio Exquisitely Hidden (Sin City Tales #2) narrated by Benjamin Charles Jacob Morgan

Grab your tissues and a bottle of wine because, you’re going to need it. Exquisitely Hidden was emotionally draining. Seth and Adam were just exhausting. Adam is the lead guitarist in Sin City and still in the closet. Seth has been out of the closet since he was a teenager. There in lies the conflict for the entire book. What starts out as a one-night stand ends up becoming a relationship Adam refuses to publicly acknowledge. There are multiple break-ups because, Seth grows tired of being Adam’s dirty little secret. I get why Seth was so angry and hurt but, he willingly chose to go down that path of secrecy. Adam was honest from the start about not being out of the closet and not wanting to come out of the closet. His childhood played a large part in why he was so afraid to come out of the closet. The back and forth between these two was heartbreaking and frustrating at the same time. This book had me knee deep in my feelings. The author did a phenomenal job of portraying the sorrow and longing between Adam and Seth. I lost count how many times I yelled at my iPad for Adam to get his shyt together and for Seth to stop being so damn stupid. This was a hard fought HEA and, Lord knows, I was happy when they finally got it. Exquisitely Hidden was a great follow up to Exquisitely Broken. It sexy with just the right amount of drama. I’d definitely recommend it.

Overall, I would give this one 4 stars. There are definitely 5 star parts woven in there, but taken as a whole it\’s 4 stars. The push/pull and angst was almost too much. I started to feel bad for Seth. But given everything Adam went through in his life when he was younger, it\’s understandable that it took him a while to get there. But it was almost a little over-cooked, as it were. The narration was well done, but technically there was an issue with Benjamin\’s recording where it would sound too tinny or something. During Jacob\’s chapters there is no other noise other than his voice, so it\’s a little off-putting when it would switch. Not horribly so, but it took a while to get past it and just delve into the story.
