Furious George: My Forty Years Surviving NBA Divas, Clueless GMs, and Poor Shot Selection

It is what it is. He does not shy away from his opinions. This is not a coaching book. It is a biography of a man’s coaching life. I really enjoyed the book. Probably need to investigate the other side of the story on a few things but dang good fun.

This book showed you who george Karl really is. More defined by wins ,losses and stats than anything else. It gives the reader insight into the NBA. ,fighting cancer, and dealing with his own demons.

I enjoyed the insight and candor of the book. He did leave specific details out, which would have helped understand his thinking and the situation, but it was a good romp through his career and his passion for Carolina.

I totally enjoyed Karl’s book. Living in Denver, he made basketball relevant in a football town. I gave up my tickets when Kroenke fired him for no reason than he wanted to be the man. The Nuggets have never recovered.

For every serious NBA fan this is a must read for about a hall of fame coach. A real, candid look into what it’s really like in pro coaching and the travails for one coach.
