A wonderfully composed piece in every way. The words speak to me both like scripture and a therapist. The importance of holding multiple feelings, such as \”feeling joy is not betraying your grief\” is iterated like a painting, each composition speaking differently to the viewer. I particularly love the depth and maturity in the words. Maggie has clearly felt her feelings and not supressed them. For that reason, this is not a coffee table book. To be appreciated, savor slowly. Take time to sit in the sun and imagine the future, while honoring the past, but living in the present. As a graphic designer, I love everything about this hard copy. The colors are vibrant, the text is chunked in a digestable way which encourages the reader to meditate and take time with each poem. As another reviewer mentioned, there is an instance where the white text is difficult to read on the turquoise color block. This is an isolated incident on page 6. Hopefully something that can be corrected before future print runs. It would not stop me from buying more copies of this wonderfully raw and inspiring piece.

Lovely, encouraging messages for a friend in need of strength and hope. Her tidbits do reflect genuine wisdom borne of pain with a little more depth than most books of this type.

Very interesting quotes ,this is a reference book and should be read over and over again.I am not sure I liked the highlighting of quotes in the way it has been done ,it could have been integrated into.the normal text.but overall a very interesting book .
