Mayhem by Erin Trejo is awesome. This is book 2 of the Soulless Bastards No Cal MC series. This is the story of Mayhem and Taylor (Tay). Taylor is the daughter of the Mayor, who is in the pocket of the MC. Her father sent her away when she was 8 and has now brought her back because someone is after him and he wants her protected and he asked the MC to do it. Mayhem is the Enforcer in the MC and as such is the one who is tasked with protecting Taylor. When they first meet Taylor acts like she doesnt like him but there is a strong chemistry between them and they cant ignore it. They both have issues in their pasts, Mayhem lost his girl to drug/overdose and Taylors father blames her for her mothers death from cancer. Will Taylor and Mayhem ignore their past and concentrate on the future? Will the issues in their pasts come back to keep them apart? You must read the book to get the answers. My emotions were all over the place while I read this book. I cried, laughed, and got mad. This book is steamy and has violence, suspense, highs and lows, twists and turns, emotional baggage, angst. This is a must read book. I cant wait for the next book by Ms. Trejo.

Gah….Mayhem I love you!!!!
You know I thought nothing could top my love for Declan but I think Mayhem has either taken over first place or the two boys are neck and neck. The jury is still out on that…
My god from page one I was brought back into the world of the Soulless Bastards MC (how I missed those guys) and couldnt get enough of them. Mayhem is given a job to watch over Taylor and from that point on there is a battle of what each person wants. Mayhem is stuck in the past after he lost someone he loved and Taylor is consumed with always feeling unwanted. Will the two be able to let go and come together?
Mayhem is full of angst, suspense and some hot and heavy moments as well as sweet and tender ones. I was in love with both Mayhem and Taylor from the beginning all the way to the end. Just loved everything about this book. Mayhem is a bad-boy you just cant help but love and Taylor is the sweet, innocent girl who just melts your heart.
My gentleness mixed with his harshness is such a sweet friction. I want more of it.
This book was just everything and then some. Love me those Soulless Bastards!!! Erin Trejo everything about this book was perfect.

I dont know if I can write exactly what bugged me about this story. I loved Mayhem, but how can you say your falling for someone then start sleeping around just to clear your head? That means you dont love that person and your a user. The author make all the woman so weak at the end after starting them out strong but at least this girl was a wimp from the beginning and you knew she would put up with what ever just to feel loved.

Mayhem is definitely a must read! I was captivated by him since I read about him in Declan. I knew his story was going to be a good one just by his crazy antics! Mayhem is the sexy, wild, always ready to party & definitely always up for a fight! He’s had a hard life that he tries to hide behind his I don’t give a crap about anything or anyone tough guy attitude. He has a wall around his heart and it quickly comes tumbling down when he meets Taylor. She’s the farthest from being a biker chick. She’s a sad, lonely, young woman who is entrusted to be under his watch while shes in town. Her dad is a crooked business man who blames her for her mothers death. Together they find what the other needs and even through the drama they end up having their HEA

Mayhem is a tortured soul, lost and running on auto. Taylor is lonely, lost and just wants to belong to someone or somewhere. I felt for both these characters, each tormented by events or someone in their lives. Thrust together by circumstances. My heart tugged at times for these two, he had family trying to help him, until him she had no one. Some suspense in this gripping story, it is a book you don’t want to put down. It has a great flow and is well written, this author always manages to pull you in and keep you there as well as leaving you wanting more. You don’t always get a HEA but you do get a fabulous read. I love her books and have followed and read many of them, I often pre order if I see one come up so I don’t risk missing it. These bikers are tough on the outside but all have that soft vulnerable spot on the inside, their women are strong, sassy and more than a match for them, they give as good as they get. Just the way I like my book heroes and heroines.
