I absolutely adore The Bailey\’s series that Piper Rayne has entertained us with. I have to say that I\’ve always wondered how things were going to go with Juno and Colton, as we\’ve seen their friendship play out in so many of her sibling\’s books. Well, wait no more, Secrets of the World\’s Worst Matchmaker will answer all of our questions and give us some new ones!! Juno and Colton have been friends since they were six years old. They truly have grown up together and they\’ve also been there for one another for the happiest, saddest and even the most mundane times. They are as close as close can be and it\’s no secret to anyone who knows them that Colton has had feelings for Juno for years, but she\’s got her own reasons to keep him in the friend zone. Now that Colton is engaged, things between the two best friends have begun to shift. Juno realizes that they aren\’t going to be able to spend time together like they always have and while she gets it, it still makes her sad. She\’s trying to make a real go of her matchmaking business, but she\’s even having doubts about that. Is Juno going to land on her feet or is she going to lose everything that\’s important to her all in one fell swoop? For anyone that has been reading this series for any length of time, I would say this is probably the book we\’ve all been waiting for. It was perfect for Juno and Colton and Piper Rayne also did a great job of setting up future books, which is always fun! Pick this one up, you won\’t be sorry.

Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker (The Baileys #7) audiobook in series The Baileys

From the first book of this amazing family, I was hooked. As each story progressed I fell even more in love with them. in all of them, was this promise of Juno and Colton. Even though they have always been friends, I felt the underlying tension, and trust me there was A CRAPTON of it. So, to say that I have been waiting for this book was an understatement. I enjoyed getting to see flashbacks of where this friendship started and to discover the reasons why Juno and Colton had the relationship that they did. Juno, this poor sweet girl. Seeing how she came to have the feelings and insecurities that she did was tough. yet, it made me love her more. She has a stubbornness about her that reminds me of her Grandma and I like that. it ties in with her need to be a matchmaker which is something I often see her Grandma doing with her meddling. Colton, his devotion and ability to stay behind the line that Juno has given him, all for the sake of not losing his best friend, was beautiful. I cannot imagine that it would be easy. I had laughs with the cameo appearances of this crazy family, especially at some VERY inopportune times. There were quite a few twists that I did not see coming which surprised me since I figured I knew where this was going to go. I was okay with predictable because I just needed to see this love story, however, I should have known it wouldn\’t be predictable from this duo. Another couple of whoppers of what is to come in the final two books. I CANNOT wait. The bonus epilogues in these stories are always amazing too. This one though might take the cake for being the best. I cannot even express what it was like to read the words of the past and see a peek into a family unit and how they came to be as amazing as this family is. I felt the loss but more importantly, I felt where the love started.

Audiobook Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker (The Baileys #7) by Piper Rayne

Piper Rayne does it again! I\’m pretty sure I\’ve said this before but THIS is my FAVORITE Bailey book. I have been looking forward to Colton and Juno since the series began but when Colton became engaged to Brigette I was like WHAT IS GOING ON??? because it was plain to see how in love with Juno he was and you know she loved him just as much even if they both denied it. UGGHHH sometimes I just want to hit someone to knock some sense into them, thankfully Piper and Rayne did it for me 😉 This book had me in tears for about the first 25-30% of it, flashbacks and heartfelt moments of times past from their childhood together. We are taken on a journey from the moment Juno and Colton met, to her parents deaths, to preteen & teen years, to the present day, some of it was funny, some of it was super sad, all of it was relevant in the development of their relationship. We are left with a bit of a cliffy of sorts because the Epilogue set up the next book which is Kingston\’s, Winning my Best Friend\’s Girl, and it looks really good, I already preordered my copy and I can\’t wait to get my hands on it! If you enjoy friends-to-lovers romances this is a great one for you to check out, if you have read any of the Bailey Series you do not want to miss this one. Happy Reading!!!

Audio Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker (The Baileys #7) narrated by Meg Sylvan Tim Paige

My, oh my! I can\’t believe I\’m saying this but Colton and Juno might have just replaced Liam & Savannah in the series as my favorite or at least a close second for Colton & Juno. I absolutely love Colton in this book. I\’ve loved him the whole series but this book just made me love him even more. I wanted to slap Juno a few times but yet you couldn\’t help but love her and kind of get everything. The way Colton shows his love for Juno is so sweet and sexy. I loved the flashbacks into their relationship over the years. When he whispered to himself \”But what if I like you more than a friend?\” my heart just exploded. I also loved all of the songs that were referenced throughout the book. I had to stop reading when one was referenced just to go listen to the song and oh how fitting those songs were. Bonus in this book is that we also got to see a little more of Kingston in this book. I can\’t wait for his book. Grandma Dori also outdid herself in this book. I loved that dang key. LOL! Epilogue was amazing, as well as the other bonus scenes you can download. This series is one of my absolute favorites that Piper Rayne has and I love all of their series but there is just something about a family and all these siblings!!

I adore the Bailey family. I have loved every single one of them and kind of wish they were *my* family – which would obviously imply I feel strongly enough about them that They Feel Like Real People – and I\’ve been eagerly awaiting Juno and Colton\’s story…which is why a three star rating makes me sad. The flashbacks were adorable, helped explain Juno\’s mindset a bit, and definitely made me realise they had multiple layers in their history which had only been vaguely hinted at in earlier books; but the actual story felt a little lacklustre. It felt rushed to me, even with the flashbacks, it felt like it was too easily resolved and the bit toward the end that ought to have felt more emotional felt more like a trope. Also, I know patience can run thin, but why mention that Colton had patience and would wait when he then…didn\’t? I feel like it would have been more realistic if he had said he was tired of being patient and needed to push her from the moment they realised they finally had their moment. It physically pains me to write a three star review for *any* Piper Rayne book, and I still adore their writing, the Bailey\’s, and literally every other series I\’ve read (can\’t wait to start Manic Monday soon!), so please read this no matter what you think of my review because it still pulled me in, I still read it in one sitting, and I still can\’t wait for the rest of the series. (No, really, I mean Read Them All. So good. Such Fun. Dory cracks me up…and while she meddles, I would have loved to have a G-Ma D.)
