Taming Mr. Flirt

Ah yes, that dynamic duo that is Madden and Schwehm have done it again! I fell for Taming Mr. Flirt right from the start, allowing me to develop a mad crush on both Kyle AND Vanessa. These two had me laughing out loud one minute and swooning the next. This is romantic comedy done right. The authors write so seamlessly together, you cannot tell where one starts and the other ends. Definitely a bit like our couple, Kyle and Vanessa. They have explosive chemistry and an attitude towards the physical that could make them practically separated at birth. Their smart banter and laissez-faire demeanor when it came to sex hit all the right spots for me and I knew it was just a matter of time when their passion would do more than just burn up the sheets.

I loved how the book started, giving us a glimpse of the nuptials between Brae and Jude. We get to catch up with the entire crew as Kyle and his Nessa grow closer than either one of them had ever anticipated. It’s the perfect combo of a slow burn with respect to matters of the heart with the fast-paced and very sexy trysts that neither can seem to live without. There is real emotion that overrides the snark and decision to just have a physical relationship. Vanessa proves to be a true surprise, hiding a secret that had changed her life forever. And Kyle shows his softer side, the one that is as sensitive as his nose for a fragrance. He accepts and nurtures her vulnerability in a way that made me sigh over and over again.

I really enjoyed this book and the way the authors crafted such a beautiful and sensitive story amidst all the fun-loving and erotic trysts. A book certain to keep you warm as the weather starts to cool, Taming Mr. Flirt is a winner from start to finish.

And I look forward to bachelor number 3’s story in this charming and gorgeous trio: the seemingly aloof and always jovial Luca. I adore these best friends and can’t wait to see how his tale unfolds.

Ann Marie Madden & Joanne Schwehm have come together once again to write a book and what we get is another incredible read.
Taming Mr Flirt is a book that will give you all the feels between the pages. We will have angst, lust, laughter, tears but what we will definitely have is another book that you won’t be able to put down.
We met Kyle Cleary & Vanessa Monroe in Finding Mr Wrong but now they have brought them to the forefront and we find two magnificent characters that will have you squirming in your seat and laughing at the outlandish things that they do, but what you will see is that there is so much more to them under it all.
Kyle is your typical funny friend but he also has that serious side when it comes to his business. He’s successful and caring and will do anything for his friends.
Vanessa Monroe is a woman going through life as the fun friend who has dreams of her own but sometimes life has you stuck.
When Kyle & Vanessa come together the chemistry is absolutely amazing, you can feel it with each turn of the page. But can past events stall the future. All I know is that from the very first page I cheered on this couple. I laughed with them, shed a tear for them but the one thing I did was wish that they would find the happiness that they both truly deserved.

I am completely entranced in the writing by these two fabulous authors. I loved this as much as Mr Wrong and Jude was hard to top!

Kyle and Vanessa were hilarious! Kyle was the male version of Vanessa and she the female version of him.

He’s a chemist who had his own lab/company developing perfumes. She is in a dead end job and craves new experiences and excitement only Kyle can give.

I don’t think two people could be more perfect for each other. They were fun, flirty, sexy, and a bit of kinky didn’t hurt either.

These two are friends since their BFFs are now happily married to each other. They both hate relationships and decide since their sexual chemistry is off the charts they make an agreement to fulfill their sexual destinies with each other. Things start great since these two are totally combustible but we all know sex with no emotion doesn’t really exist. Vanessa has a traumatic past experience which keeps her from giving her heart to Kyle despite him being first to admit there is something more. I loved Kyle, our sexy chemist doesn’t let his Nessa pull away. He keeps fighting for her and what they could be until she finally gives in and realizes a life without him would be more devastating than her biggest fears.

I loved this and can’t wait for Luca and his sexy Italian to come our way!!!

What do you get when you bring together two authors who seamlessly combined humor with a whole lot of sexiness and tenderness, you get a book that will leave the reader with a smile on their face and joy in their heart.

What began as a sexy partnership between two people that weren’t ready for a serious relationship, grew into something neither Kyle or Vanessa were expecting. They got blindsided by destiny and while they had great chemistry and were pretty hot together, neither one of them wanted to completely acknowledge what was knocking at their heart’s door.

I loved that the authors didn’t rush their romantic relationship. Yes, they were physically together almost right away, but their soulful connection took time, they need it to grow up as human beings, overcome their pasts and understand each other for that deep connection to take place. Madden and Schwehm did a fantastic job in this book making sure that happened, making their love one for the record books once they both realized what they had in front of them.

While it might seem like an easy going story with the banter between, not only the main characters, but their crew of friends, ended up being a beautifully crafted story with some serious issues mixed with a whole lot of sexy times. This book can be read as a standalone but I’d recommend that you read Finding Mr. Wrong so you can get to know the characters and their friendships.

I love A.M. Madden so much, the way she writes her stories with such ease, always fast passed with a realistic feel add Joanne Schwelme and it makes for a brilliant collaboration… this series is proof of that.
Taming Mr. Flirt is hilarious for the most part …Venessa and Kyle with their antics oh dear! As early as 4% into the story you get a teaser of what you can expect from the both of them. They are equally matched and perfect for one another but its not going to be that easy.
With rules in place Venessa and Kyle strike up a relationship of sorts, starts off as strictly sexual and you have to wonder who will crack first.
Venessa is adamant that she wants to keep to the rules…she has her reasons but of course lines get blurred. While Venessa fights her feelings Kyle has other ideas.
As Venessa and Kyles relationship develops to so much more you cant help feeling a little hesitant and theres good reason for that. As we watch Venessa sabotage everything thats good between the two of them you can only hope that in time Venessa will give in to her true feelings for Kyle.
Its from this point this story becomes more emotionaly charged as we wait for what we hope is a positive outcome.
There are some brilliant standout moments, Kyle is on top form with his seductive skills… hes still Mr Flirt but only for Venessa..
I have to say Ive learnt so much about perfumes and scents and after years of doing so I will never rub my perfumed sprayed wrists together again.
Superb epilogue.!
