I have loved Terry Brooks forever it seems. I will always love his writings. The Shannara series was, is and always will be my favorite reads. This time around is my third time purchasing them, (all of them) and about my 20th time reading them.

What to say. Every book by Terry Brooks are amazing. You feel transported to the Four Lands and to its rich characters. Another excellent book.

My husband and I love the Shannara series and are reading through them again after a long break (and watching the MTV series). As far as sexual content, there is a bit of \’love interest\’ and mostly insinuations going on, never anything graphically described in any of these books.

This book is the culmination of an excellent series. I encourage you to buy all three novels. They are up to Terry Brooks usual standard, or way above most authors. I noticed some reviews felt that the book wound everything up too quickly, but I feel that was mostly their desire to keep on reading the story. It is that good. I did not feel shorted by the last novel, although I could have kept reading! I actually prefer three book series. More than that and I tend to lose interest. I liked the series and await Mr. brooks next literary artwork.

I chose this rating because I could not put the book down and this applies to the whole series. A remarkeble author who continues to produce high quality work,Characters are well describted and plots well thought out without glaring gaps. The authors ability to keep you turning pages is quite remarkable and I say this having read thousands of books over my 76 years.
