Audiobook The End of White Politics by Zerlina Maxwell
I wanted to like this book because Ms. Maxwell may be a leader in the Democratic Party of which I am a lifelong member. imagine a boring 5 minute segment on MSNBC (which I like) repeated a hundred times. I gave up 2/3 through the book. I didn\’t learn anything about Hilary\’s campaign. I didn\’t see any mea culpa\’s for a job poorly done. I didn\’t hear any policy ideas that could pass in our divided Senate. Just endless demands to pay attention to someone repeating endless cliches. Ms. Maxwell will probably be a decent TV talking head. Another big job in politics? I\’d be surprised. 3 people found this helpful

Zerlina Maxwell does an outstanding job of breaking down the issues that affect, not only our politics, but the politics on the Democratic side specifically. She addresses the ever increasingly diverse population of our country and why it’s necessary to speak to those unique groups and not just center the politics around Whites alone. Very well written.
