The Human Division is the fifth chapter in Old Man’s novel series. It is a beautiful science fiction fantasy. The author, John Scalzi has written this novel in his trademark style. His best novels are super exciting where The Collapsing Empire and The Last Emperox arguably tops the list.
The narration of The Human Division novel is done by William Dufris. He has partnered with John Scalzi in many of his novels. Their partnership usually works and it did the magic once again. People loved him in his soulful voice with apt expression and accent.

The inhabitants of the planet Earth knows that the human Capital Union has kept all of them ignorant about the dangers of the universe. The CU for many generations had protected humanity from the dangers of the universe imposed by the hostile aliens. They kept Earth deliberately as an ignorant backwater. It also used to be a source of military recruits. This time now, the secrets of CU are open to all. A few of the other alien races have emerged and are part of a new grand alliance. It is an alliance against the CU. Now, they have also invited the inhabitants of the Earth to join hands with them. For a betrayed and shaken Earth, the choice is not so easy or obvious at all.
To enjoy The Human Division novel, you need to first go through the Old Man’s War novel. That will keep you in the context of the story with its background. The Human Division is not a standalone kind of a novel. If you go with this novel as recommended and you are a fan of science fiction fantasies then you will highly enjoy this one.
