Without real substance and lacks a true understanding of how both parties continue to create the mess in DC. The most honest thing he said after the Obamas victory was that the Republican Party needed a major overhaul; to be changed from within, but when the real change came in the person of Trump, Ryan recoiled. Both parties simply push us into terminal financial collapse. Cut the federal payroll by 50% first then real change might have a chance. Ryan doesnt offer a better way, just a lot of blarney.

Reading this book helped me to better understand Paul Ryan. It is good to know as we now push through the Trump years with their lack of decent discussion, with people being kicked out of the White House, with mass shootings becoming way too common. I would like to see Paul Ryan bring his ideas as president.

I learned that Paul Ryan does care about people from all walks of life in America from a conservative perspective

In his book Intimidated, Governor Scott Walker made reference to the great deal of respect he has for Congressman Paul Ryan. Since I enjoyed Governor Walkers book, on this recommendation, I thought it might be interesting to read Congressman Ryan’s book as well.

Although I generally don’t read political type books or a lot of biographies, I’m glad that I read this book. Through Congressman Ryans perspective, I was able to gain a different perspective on some of the current issues and challenges facing my field, which is the field of worksite wellness.

I consider this book to be a good read and worth the investment.

I really like the ideas in this book. Paul Ryan is a very smart man and I like his ideas. Our country has lost it’s way and I think his ideas could get us back to where we should be.
