Crooked Kingdom Audiobook
The crooked Kingdom is the second title in Six of Crows duology. The book is a fictional classic which is written by Leigh Bardugo. She is an Israeli American author of fantasy novels. There are a good number of her series including trilogy and duology where the author has done quite well. If we speak about her best works then Shadow and Bone‘s novel will top the list. It will be closely followed by her Siege and Storm novel which is quite good as well.

The narration of the Crooked Kingdom novel is done by a diverse team. The narrators include Roger Clark, Elizabeth Evans, Jay Snyder, Brandon Rubin, Fred Berman, Lauren Fortgang, Kevin T. Collins, and Peter Garmin. Only Elizabeth and Lauren were good and their characterization was justified. It is most distracting to have so many narrators and this one also had its issues.
Kaz along with his crew pulled off a daring heist, despite thinking and knowing ahead that they wouldn’t survive. However, instead of apportioning a handsome reward, they all were fighting back for their survival. The crew was all badly weakened and double-crossed as well. They were quite low on their resources, including any hope and allies. The powerful forces from all around the world came to Ketterdam for discovering the secrets related to jurda parem, which was an extremely dangerous drug. War is all set to wage on the twisting and dark streets of the city.

The book for its writing was awesome. It is the highly anticipated sequel from the Six of Crows duology which turned into a bestselling novel duology in the New York Times. The only issue was with some of the many narrators where a few characters sounded unnecessarily ridiculous.
