Heroes most of the time save the day for the people, this series however has a band of pirates to do the hero’s work. Craig Alanson created this band of pirates long ago and it was an instant hit the day the first novel was launched in the market.
Pirates are not the kind which we see in the movies going here and there in the sea. Rather these pirates are the space pirates which used to loot ships going for space expeditions. But all of this is a thing of the past as the crew does not do all those stupid and corrupt things now.

The president loads the ship of the pirates with a nuclear warhead and the mission is to drop the bomb and fly away. Like Brushfire and Columbus Day the heroes get into trouble in a big way because instead of just following orders the heroes start their investigation in the case. Truths come to the scene slowly but strongly here. The pirates find themselves in a fix because they cannot decide whether to obey the president or help those stuck in the place.
