The Resurrection Key

I really enjoyed this book. While it did have the usual danger and fast action, this one brought in a different and terrifying enemy, along with the military of China who want the new “discovery” for their own “rule the world” schemes. Macy (Eddie and Nina’s 10 year old daughter) is also dragged into the danger. As usual, there are various sites around the world that we are taken to in order for the story to play out. I have enjoyed this whole series, and hope to see another book in this one some time in the future. As a side thought, after all the adventures Eddie and Nina have been through, they should have accumulated a LOT of scars by now from all the injuries they have sustained.

This may be the longest book (or close to it) in the series. This one crosses into the realm of science-fiction to be honest. The last lines seem to imply that this is the end of the series. It is as good as any other book that McDermott has written, although it does seem to drag on at times.

Another great Andy McDermott book that is action packed and keeps the story moving along, often in unexpected directions. There is no question that his writing talent creates word pictures in your mind as you read the story. You simply dont want to put it down!

Another wonderful journey into history, mystery and ACTION. I can’t believe how VIVIDLY Andy describes different cities, locations and places. You can really SEE what he is describing. The ACTION is constant and daunting. I don’t where he will go next, but can’t wait to find out!

This adventure was a little bit too far reaching. Eddie and Nina fighting off early giants from 150 thousand years ago was interesting and filled with the action that the author applies to all of his writings.
