Dark World
A couple of expanding interstellar powers are about to come across each other in a fierce battle. After the destruction of the Cephalopod Kingdom, as many as 300 rebellious worlds were claimed by Humanity that it left behind. But on the far side of the disputed territory and many light-years away, a rival power has taken the step to move. They are quickly stealing many of our planets and going away with one at a time. The planet Earth Command made up their mind to invade the frontier’s center to set up an advanced base.
The Dark World mission is extremely deadly and classified. The effort was spearheaded by Legion Varus. It marked the start of James McGill’s journey to the stars. What is the number of ships that they have? What level of advancement is there in their technology? No one knows this but the campaign continued and took an unexpected turn.
This book is another fantastic adventure in the Undying Mercenaries novel series. It is a superb story and narrated by Boyett in a very unique and friendly tone.
