Andrea is a blood surrogate in Half-Moon Hollow and her best friend is Jane Jameson. She has been ousted from her deadist family because she supports Vampire rights. Most of her friends are the undead. Her job as a blood surrogate is threatened when a newbie Vamp loses control and nearly drains her. She makes it home but the blood loss is major.
Dick Cheney (the Vampire, not the Vice President) is attracted to Andrea and no longer fighting it. Checking on her after her latest job with the newbie, he comes to the rescue and saves Andrea. He may be an undead Vampire, but hes not that dead and he wants Andrea.
As with Molly Harpers stories, the tongue-in-cheek jokes and humour are beyond funny. This is a light-hearted story that will make you smile, and laugh, and love the characters.

Finally and insight into Dick and Andrea’s story! I really loved hearing things from their point of view but I just wish it had a little more meat to it, it left me wanting more. I know it was just a little novella but when she wrote Gigi’s novella before her full novel it was almost twice as long, as well as her Undead Sublet anthology book. So that was a little disappointing. Don’t get me wrong this story was really good and I very much enjoyed it I just wish I got to hear more of their story from their point of view, I feel that all her characters are very well developed and when you read their stories they feel very full and complete, this just felt very light to me lol. But really don’t miss out on a little insight into Dick Cheneys head you wont regret it!

Audiobook Fangs for the Memories (Half-Moon Hollow #4.5) by Molly Harper
A nice, light background story for the Half Moon Hollow series, but a bit underdeveloped compared to the rest of the stories. I was actually rather surprised when the story ended, somewhat like a ball rolling to a stop all on its own. It just faded without a real climax and the supporting character that it’s about stayed just that, a supporting character, and I don’t really feel like I got to know her much better in this little jaunt. Even the romance seemed a little too fluffy. But, as always, the story itself is well-written. It has the same light style that this authors other work has, and it never takes itself too seriously.

Audio Fangs for the Memories (Half-Moon Hollow #4.5) narrated by Amanda Ronconi
This is a short novella that takes you back to when Dick was trying to romance Andrea before she was turned. It takes place right after Mr. Wainwright dies. It shows you how Dick was able to romance himself into Andreas life when she was deadest on even giving him the time of the day. Its quick, sweet and yes even romantic. I loved every minute of it! Molly Harper is one of my favorite authors, her books are often gut clutching funny and sweet at the same time. I love Dick Cheney so much and this just adds to my love for him from Molly Harper’s other Half Moon Hollow books. I just wish it was longer honestly I could read about Dick and Andrea all day but sadly it is a short story. It was really great to see why Andrea caved and also why she had her walls up with Dick in the first place. I just love everything about the character Dick Cheney so I am so glad he got a little bit of a story of just him and Andrea. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read any Molly Harper books and also any one who likes a short quirky romance.
