ANANSI BOYS AUDIOBOOK
Coming out with the Anansi myth was always well planned by Neil Gaiman, the author did some research on the old legend and then used it in this novel. Charlie Nancy was the son of Anansi i.e a trickster god but he learned nothing from his dad because his dad used to make fun of him by calling him, Fat Charlie. The name just got stuck with Nancy and no matter how hard he tried the name just didn’t leave him.
Then after the death of his dad, he had nothing special to do in life, so he used to live alone most of the time. From his early youth, he had no interest in his father’s stage performances thus he never knew what his father was capable of.
ANANSI BOYS
One day the bell rang at an unusual time and a strange-looking guy was at the door. He told Charlie that he was Charlie’s brother but he didn’t possess the fat belly rather he was a dashing boy.
Together the two start learning what it meant to be an Anansi. Fat Charlie learns how to make money with the least effort. The boy never knew the powers that were bestowed upon him by his father. For the first time in his life, he starts enjoying being an Anansi. Lenny Henry narrates in a funny style to make the listeners enjoy every moment of this story.

The Sandman and Good Omens lacked such tricks and comic scenes. The word Fat Charlie at the start depicted the fact that the author never wanted it to be a serious book. Neil wanted it to be a light-hearted story for the youngsters.
