Ms. Feehan has been pushing boundries for a while with her increasingly twisted and violent characters. This book was the final straw for me. (Spoiler alert) Extreme torture and violent rape were plot lines here. No more for me, thank you. Besides the blood and gore, these characters seemed to have the same internal dialogues all the time. I kept thinking, Did I somehow scroll backwards instead of forwards? I have read these lines already. Very disappointing in the extreme. My last Feehan novel.

Covert Game audiobook in series A GhostWalker Novel
Honestly, can I buy a new plot? The bad guy was super easy to defeat. The main character keeps repeating the same description details. It was both boring and violent. Hard to do. An the plot was so similar to her other books–I was bored. It was a sex book with a half-assed plot attached it. It was readable and but I miss her books with more ‘flavor’ such as Gator and Flame’s story or Tany’s in ‘Murder Game’. All the guys feel the same any more. SIgh. Readable but not her best work. Still not as offensive as Wyatt or Trap’s story so livable.

Audiobook Covert Game by Christine Feehan
I’ve been reading C.F. since her first novel- gave up on 1st series a few years ago, now think I’ve had enough of this series as well. Scenes here of violence not appealing nor the sex scenes. I like machine learning and AI, but overall I did find this a great read. I skipped forward numerous times until I made it to the end. Sometimes these series just go on too long.

Audio Covert Game narrated by Tom Stechschulte
Yeah I have no words. Yes there are different kinds of strength. But there seems to be a trend for the heroines in this series. To each their own this is just not my own. So will I re-read? No.
Do I recommend? No. Dont waste your time. If needy heroine who feels like they need to cling – then this book is for you.
Just not my cup of tea. Argh.

Loved the possessiveness, tenderness and protectiveness Gino shows to his woman. Gino and his teammates rescued Zara after she became a prisoner and was tortured. The only negative things I found were . . . One, Zara is basically a genius but after she is rescued that side of her personality is never shown again, she’s a totally different person from the one described at the beginning. Two, the torture done by sadist in a club are very descriptive and leave you feeling uncomfortable. Besides that, the story kept my attention, was action packed and a good addition to the series. As always, I liked the camaraderie between the ghost walkers. They all have strengths that they use to protect family.
