Dungeon Goddess

Jake can\’t sleep and when he does its not restful as much as deadly. And the statue hes working on at the Museum keeps showing up both places. Is insomnia cracking him up or has he discovered another life in another world makes more sense than this one? I enjoyed the Duality of the story and it was a great story. A little bit matrix mixed with my LOTRs and more than a touch of spice thrown in.

I really enjoyed this story MC is down-to-earth and not overpowered to the point of huh how easy is this. I like his personality in the fact that he is a basically a good guy cares about those around him and even merciful towards his enemies. All the characters in the story have developing personalities and that\’s one thing I enjoy in a good book.there is lots of action and mystery and adventure hope to read the next book soon keep up the good work and thanks.

Huge fan of both the Cherry Blossom Girls and House of Dolls series so very familiar with Gideon Caldwell. Dungeon Goddess also contains many nods to, or mentions of characters from the former. But, it\’s not necessary to have read those books to enjoy this one. I highly enjoyed the dance between both New York and the Orange Vale that the main character did throughout the book. I must say I never got tired of this mechanic used in this particular story. The main character, Jake, seems like such an underdog within the story using no weapons other then his fists. Almost right from the start he throws his sword and whip off a cliff. Enjoyed the fight scenes. Highly waiting for the next one to come out. Hopefully this will help out with that.

Fantasy LitRPG harem Jake is the MC here, and he works setting up exhibits for the Guggenheim museum. He learns the quest is to save the missing dungeon goddess and the people of Orange Vale. He also has a problem with insomnia. And he meets a young woman who clicks with him. His life in NYC and Orange Vale both have their demands, and what at first seems a dream — isn\’t. Recommended.

The story is interesting, it just took a good bit to pick up and make sense of. I’m looking forward to the second book! It’ll be interesting to see if a Dungeon Knight gets some special ability or if it’s just a position to assign.
