The narration of this chapter is done by the duo of Simon Vance and Scott Brick. Both are legendry narrators and their performances in this novel were outstanding. Scott Brick has a shorter role to play here in comparison with Simon Vance, and everything was done with perfection.
Arrakis, which is now called Rakis is known as Dune to the legend. 10 centuries have passed 10 times and the planet is once again becoming a desert. Those who have lost their way are returning home from the far sides of the space. The greatest of the great sandworms are now dying. The Bene Tleilax and Bene Gesserit struggled quite hard to set the future of Dune. The kids of the Dune’s kids have finally awakened from the dream. They are now exerting the new power of a heresy called love.
Heretics of Dune is arguably the best chapter in the Dune novel series. The book is well-paced. There might not be the type of full-on Hollywood type of action but still, the plotting is quite superbly done while the psychological action is amazing too. Simon Vance in the lead narrator’s capacity rocks as well.
