The follow up book was awful. Absolutely Awful. Its only purpose was to serve as a filler for the next installment. It did however, show us just how sick relationship between Rush and Nan truly is. It is emotionally incestuous. It was creepy how he flip flops his love and loyalty between his fiancée Blair and his half sister Nan. I liked Grant, the other so called brother, in book one. Here not so much. Here, he shows how sex with ex stepsister rules his loyalty. Nan controls both these idiots, but only these two, because everyone else is obsessed with Blaire. The way that anyone who meets Blaire acts like she hung the moon is truly annoying. I get that she is trying to make Blaire the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it’s overdone. Back to the creep – Rush doesn’t deserves to be a father since he said he would gladly trade places with the hospitalized unconscious Nan so she could be happy. He seemed to forget that he had a fiancé and was going to be a dad while he was thinking that. Yeah, he is a loser and while I’m thinking about it , his dirty talk is so overdone that it eventually is just verbal vomit. Once again, less is more. Too bad that is not the case here. The writing lacks quality. 1 Star.

Never Too Far audiobook in series Rosemary Beach
After listening to Fallen Too Far, I had to dive into the next book immediately, because that ending… argh! I love both Blaire and Rush, but the couldn\’t seem to get things right. However, everything was about to change in Never Too Far. When Blaire returned to Sumit, she was living with Cain\’s Granny Q and she was struggling to find her feet again. A run in with Cain and a visit from a new friend sent Blaire back to Rosemary Beach, if only for a short while. Blaire\’s life becomes complicated and she realises she has friends and support in Rosemary Beach and she can\’t run away again. Both Blaire and Rush needed to step up throughout Never Too Far. They belong together, but struggle to get their lives to line up. There are constant hurdles for them to over come and they really need to learn to trust one another. At times I wished Blaire wouldn\’t hold back and fight for what she wanted. She was a sweet girl and deserved to be loved. Rush, well he seemed to be there but he kept pushing Blaire away when she wanted to be there for him and he probably needed it most. I wish that he would follow through with what he says, and keep Blaire as his number one priority. There were a lot of twists throughout the story which had my jaw hitting the floor! Just when I thought I had their stories straight, confessions and truths turned everything upside down once again. I love how Abbi Glines always keeps me in the dark about where the story is heading and I have no idea until the twist hits me! I\’ve continued to enjoyed the narration by Jennifer Bronstein as well. Her easy story telling and switching between characters has kept me engrossed in the story. I look forward to finishing Rush & Blaire\’s story with Forever Too Far.

Audio Never Too Far narrated by Jennifer Bronstein
Abbi Glines left us with a cliffhanger in Fallen Too Far! How was I not suppose to pick up Never Too Far right away? Never Too Far picks up where Fallen Too Far left off. Blaire has found out that Rush has kept a major secret from her that involves her father\’s abandoment. She goes back to Sumit where she is trying to mend her broken heart. I got my heart and world shattered and came home. It has been three weeks since she said goodbye to Rush, and Blaire has been trying to move on with her life. She is still an independent, loving and caring girl but she has become tougher. Blaire encounters another situation, here pregnancy, in Never Too Far that changes her world all over again. Once again my life was about to take a sudden turn. One I wasn\’t prepared for. Blaire goes back to Rosemary looking for Cain, best friend/ex-boyfriend, because he has gone to talk to Rush. When Blaire arrives she realizes that Cain has left, and she decides to stay with Bethy, until she decides where she will go next. I liked Bethy in Fallen Too Far, but loved her In Never Too Far. I would love to have a friend like Bethy- crazy, fun, protective, supportive, and all a girl can ask for in a friend. Rush has heard from Jace that Blaire might come back to Rosemary, but he knows the possibilities of her moving back are slim. In Never Too Far, we see a different side of Rush that we had not seen in Fallen Too Far. He is broken from loosing Blaire and all his pint up anger has made him aggressive. I can never get enough of Rush Finley, I can seriously have an overdose of this guy lol. Lastly, I love reading from his POV :D! There was no reason to act like I was okay. Until I knew Blaire was okay, I was never going to be okay. I\’d been angry, broken, and wild. When Rush first see\’s Blaire, he does not believe what he is seeing. Once Blaire comes back into the picture, we see the Rush we knew in Fallen Too Far. He is extremely protective of Blaire when people try to mess with her, and extremely possessive of her when other guys go near her. If I had been drinking, I\’d blame it on the alcohol. It had to be an illusion, a desperate one. But I hadn\’t been drinking. Not a drop. There was no mistaking Blaire. It was her. There is seriously no stopping the attraction Blaire and Rush have for each other. They can try to be friends and avoid each other as much as they want, but their hearts and bodies do not understand reason. Heck, my body would not understand reason if I had Rush Finley standing in front of me! He was lethal to my emotions and good sense. Although having had her to myself all day was going to make it real hard to go back to the way it was. What I loved about Rush in Never Too Far was that he finally stood up to Nan. I seriously hated Nan in the first book, and I am still not a fan. Nan just needs to mature and remember that Blaire is not to blame for the situation she suffered as a little girl. She also needs to understand that her brother is in love with Blaire, and needs to learn to accept that. So I am glad that Rush finally puts her in her place. I didn\’t feel like Nan was the victim in this any longer. \”You and I both know I\’ve put you first all my life. You needed me and I was there. But we are adults now, Nan.\” Abbi Glines has delivered an incredible sequel to the Too Far Series. I started this book late at night, and I did not realize that it was five in the morning when I finished reading it. I was unable to put this book down. I was completely sucked into Blaire\’s world. I road the emotional roller coaster ride with Blaire from the very beginning through the very end. Abbi Glines delivered a story full of steam, developed characters, sorrow, happiness, heartache, betrayal, and so much more. I will definitely be reading and buying Forever Too Far :D!

This book lived up to all my expectations, and I have a feeling this series or at least the Rush, Blaire part of this series is going to be a very quick read for me given that I’ve read the first two books in just more than a day. The main characters in this book are again the same as in book one, Rush and Blaire. At the start of this book Rush and Blaire are dealing with the fallout from the previous book where they end by breaking up. Blaire is back living in her home town and Rush is seriously struggling with being away from her; but of course with friends like Bethy Blaire can’t stay away for long. She returns with a secret that she wants to keep from Rush and while the two start up their relationship there is no hiding the truth. The secondary characters are pretty much the same as in the last book, Wood, Grant and Bethy. Wood in this book is a really great friend to Blaire and looks after her even when Rush can’t and even though Rush doesn’t like it. Grant is trying to be a brother to Rush but really he’s just glad that Blaire is back in Rush’s life and hoping that it will stop him from being mopey. Bethy is in best friend ‘I’ll kick your arse if he hurts you’ mode with Rush and Blaire for the most of this book. The storyline is not as interesting as the first book in the series but I feel like this was a great book for building the story up and for character developments which there was a lot of. The pacing was good and yet again it ended being open ended, not as much of a cliff- hanger in the first one, just an unanswered ending so I will be starting the next book in the series very soon, like tonight / tomorrow. 4.5 stars, I am loving this series.
