The Martian audiobook is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is written by Andy Weir. The Martian is the debut novel of Andy Weir which got published in 2011. The book became a bestseller and it was also adapted into a movie with the same name. After his great debut success, he came with many other novels where Project Hail Mary is one of his most renowned novels. You may also find his Randomize novel as a captivating one.
Wil Wheaton is the narrator of this book. He is a good narrator but his selection for this novel, The Martian is not justified. He has got a very young voice which was not suitable for the characters of this chapter. If R. C. Bray had played this novel then it would have been a perfect narration.
The Martian
Mark Watney, an astronaut six days ago become one of the very few first people to set foot on Mars. He is almost sure now that he would become the first person as well to die on that planet.
A dust storm almost killed him and the members of his crew to evacuate while presuming him to be dead. Mark discovered himself stranded and was completely alone with no possible way to signal even on the planet Earth that he is alive. Even, if he can develop the connection and signal Earth then he would still struggle to survive as his supplies would end well before any rescue mission arrives.

The story of this novel is magnificent and hardly anyone has any negative opinion about it. It was just the narration that didn’t impress the majority of the listeners, as Wil Wheaton for such a book does not seems to be a good choice.
