Lincoln in the Bardo Audiobook
Lincoln in the Bardo is a genre fiction novel. It is written by George Saunders. E is an American short story writer, novelist, and essayist. He also uses to write books for children along with novellas as well. CivilWarLand in Bad Decline is his best work in English literature so far. Tenth of December is another superb book which the author has written.
The narration of this unabridged audiobook is done by a team of narrators. The team includes Nick Offerman, George Saunders, David Sedaris. Miranda July, Carrie Brownstein, Lena Dunham, and the full cast. It was a kind of narration which you will find quite hard to follow as it was jumping from one story to the other with a different voice.
Lincoln in the Bardo
It was February of 1862 when The Civil War was less than a year old only. The fighting has started and the entire nation has started to realize that all this is for a bloody, long struggle. President Lincoln’s son in the meantime lies upstairs in the White House. He was severely ill. His name was Willie and despite all of the hope for recovery, Willie died. He was buried in the Georgetown cemetery.
From this historical truth, the author was able to produce an unforgettable tale that was all about familial love and loss. It is something that would break free from the historical, realistic framework and right into the supernatural realm. It will be a terrifying and a hilarious experience both.

So much is happening in this book and the presence of a full cast of narrators further complicated things. It is a good book but with complex stories and characters as well.
