I would have gave this book 3 stars, but it was rushed, the author glossed over some very pivotal moments in the story. Each of these moments would have gave more life to the story. Here are some of those moments: the author did not write about when Kate told her family she was pregnant; she just jumped to Kate getting text messages from her mom to move back home. I had to go back to be sure i hadn\’t missed the confession. I didn\’t. Then the author didn\’t write about when Kate decided she would move next door to Lochlan and how her roommate was going to afford to live by herself. I was also surprised her friends didn\’t help her move or never came to her new apartment. Plus we never got to see Lochlan be introduced to Kate\’s parents as the baby\’s father. He was supposed to go to the family dinner just like all the other guys in the other books. Last but not least, the author never wrote about Kate meeting Lochlan parent\’s and they never mentioned anything about Kate\’s family. Heck they didn\’t even say anything about calling her family when she had the baby.

Oopsie Daisy audiobook in series Flower Shop Sisters
OOPSIE DAISY is a standalone read with a happy every after. It is sexy, sexy, sexy, if that is an issue for you. The main character is a big sexy Irishman and he is sexy as all get out. So, he puts it all out there!! The heroine, Kate is 22 and she is a brilliant grad student. She is also the third daughter and she works hard to get her share of the attention from her family. She can be rather crude and seems to have NO filter so she is a sort of rough character. The story actually starts in Ireland. The family has gathered for Mari and Liam\’s wedding. It is the night before the wedding and Kate is feeling a little out of things. She decides to go to a local pub for a drink and to see if she might be able to pick up a sexy Irishman for a quick romp in the hay! She is sitting at the bar drinking when she spots a likely candidate. He is good looking and that is about all she is interested in. He spots her, gets up, comes over and proceeds to hit on her. Doesn\’t take much and she is taking him back to her hotel room. Now Kate is a lot of talk but very low on experience. In fact, she is still a virgin and she is ready to move beyond that. They have a wild night only to find out the next day that he is the cousin to the groom and she is sister to be bride. No problem, they will never see each other again. Lochlann, 31, is a professor, single, and determined to stay that way. Kate shows up for the first meeting with her advisor for her graduate studies on Vancouver Island and guess who the advisor is? None other than Lochlann. Her one night stand back in Ireland. He acts like he doesn\’t recognize her and her feelings are hurt but she plays along with it. It has been 3 months and maybe he doesn\’t remember her. Maybe she was just one other woman he had sex with. But then the plot thickens as Kate finds out she has a big secret she needs to share with Lochlann. This is not going to be good. He is at the University on a working VISA as a visiting professor. He can\’t date students and he certainly can\’t have sex with them. It was before he knew who she was and before his job but it still would not go over good. This is a good read. I really enjoyed it and found it to be very entertaining. I definitely recommend it. It is part of a series but you can read this book without feeling lost. I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 7/19/2020

Audiobook Oopsie Daisy by Iris Morland
Once again, this gifted wordsmith has me in awe of her ability to dust off a used-to-death trope, breathing new life into it with her witty, clever writing and have me devouring the pages in one sitting. I adored Dani and Mari\’s stories in the previous two books, but I think Kate is my favorite sister. Kate is the youngest of the Wright sisters, the prankster, and yes, the impulsive one. She decides to let loose when she\’s in Ireland for Mari and Liam\’s wedding, and she meets Lochlann one night at a pub. She decides he\’s the perfect man to deflower her (you know I had to go there, right?) and in exchange, he leaves her with a hothouse specimen that comes into full bloom nine months later. It\’s unexpected, but Kate can deal with a baby with the help of her BFF and her family while finishing her postgrad degree. What she wasn’t counting on is the fact that her new advisor for her grad program is also her baby daddy. Our hero, Lachlann is a bit curmudgeonly and a lot pushy, but I give him a pass. It’s quite the shock to learn he\’s going to be a father, but when he\’s in, he\’s all in. Gah! This scoundrel absconded with my heart in no time at all! However, if the university finds out about Lachlann\’s relationship with Kate, there goes his teaching job and his work visa. He also has a colleague who never grew out of her mean-girl phase, and you’re going to love to hate this character as she causes as much trouble as possible for Lachlann and Kate. And Kate? This girl is my new hero. She may be young, but she knows what she wants and goes after it with everything she has. She has more to deal with than any other person should have to manage, but she has no shortage of perseverance and determination. With her strong moral compass and her family\’s support, you just know things will work out for Kate. And things do work out, but not at all as I expected, which again showcases this lady\’s talent for crafting a story. Get ready to relinquish your emotions and hand them over into this writer\’s care because this story is the very best kind of emotional whiplash. You’ll be giddy with laughter on one page and feel your heart squeezed on the next, only to have you blushing after that, while never quite sure where the ride will take you next. The balance between all these elements is pure perfection with a maximum emotional impact, and it will be all you can do to hold on tight. When the end is in view you\’ll be left breathless and satisfied but wishing this book went on forever. With a delicious push and pull and an angsty on-again, off-again relationship, this story is witty and charming, sizzling and steamy, and full of heart with surprising depth. Kate and Lachlann\’s story will delight you, enchant you, and leave you wanting more, so don’t miss this delightful, heartfelt, phenomenal read!

Audio Oopsie Daisy narrated by Aaron Shedlock Kelsey Navarro
This is the first book in the series that I’ve read as I want aware till after I got it that it was sort of a trilogy, but it really didn’t seem to matter and I was able to follow the story perfectly. This is a feel good quick read that was really enjoyable. Some of the Irish parts of the story were stereotypical and perhaps not the greatest, but I could put them to one side and still smile through the book. Whether you’ve read the first two books or not I’d still recommend this.
