Siren in Bloom (Texas Sirens #6)

After the last couple of re-releases from Lexi Blake were misses for me, I was so happy to get into Siren in Bloom and realize whatever had happened with those books didnt carry on to this one. The magic was back for Leo, Wolf, and Shelley, and I loved it. Id loved Leo in particular throughout the other books in the series, so I was happy his book was worthy of him.

My heart had broken for Leo in the previous book in this series, Siren in Waiting when Shelley rejected him for her loser of a husband. Hes been such an amazing man in each book hed appeared in; I wanted him to get his HEA finally. I hadnt expected it to come by way of his brother, but I was there for it. The mnage the three of them made up was complex and challenging, but they were all the better for it. Each of them needed both of the others in myriad ways, and Im not sure any of them could have found completion in any other way.

There were a lot of moving pieces in this book, nothing so complicated as to be confusing, but enough intrigue both in the dynamics of working out the relationship between the brothers and Shelley after all the hurt theyd experienced amongst themselves, and in the forces working against them that I was riveted to my kindle the entire time I was reading. The three of them went through more than their share of suffering in the few days the book covered, but it served to make their bond feel unbreakable and intense.

Siren in Bloom is the sixth book in Lexi Blakes Texas Sirens series. It was previously released under the pen name Sophie Oak and has been re-edited, with new content added. These books are all interconnected standalones, but there are lots of visits from the couples and triads in the previous novels, so it is nice to read them first if youre considering reading them. Siren in Bloom is written in third-person limited perspective, alternatively following Shelley, Leo, Wolf, and a couple other characters.

In order to protect those she loved, Shelley was forced into a marriage that she didnt want with an evil man. Leo is a Dom at a BDSM Club in Dallas and he is also a psychologist who has counseled Shelleys brother in the past. He has been attracted to Shelley for a while however when he tries to help her escape her marriage she refuses as she doesnt want to place him in danger, but she doesnt tell him the real reason why.

A year later Shelley is a widow however Leo hasnt forgiven her for her decision to stay with her husband and refuses to have anything to do with her. Shelley is a submissive but when the Club sets her up with another Dom, she had no idea that it was ex-Navy SEAL Wolf who also happens to be Leos brother.

By the time Wolf realizes that Leo has feelings for Shelley he loves her as well but doesnt want to lose her as well. He suggests a relationship between the three of them but when Shelley is threatened will they be able to keep her safe?

This story takes you on an adventure filled with hot chemistry, great characters and suspense.

Leo Meyer is the psychologist for Julian Lodge’s club and a well respected Dom there. Wolf is Leo’s brother and mentally wasn’t ready to leave the SEALs but an injury has forced him to re-evaluate where he wants to go. Shelley has had to make a new life for herself after her drug dealing, abusive husband destroyed the one she had been building. Despite knowing that Leo has feelings for her (or because of it), Shelley comes to The Club to make that start.

More healing and creating new beginnings than suspense, Siren in Bloom has magnetic characters and thoughtful scenes. All three of the leads have much to work through as they fight themselves as much as what’s happening between each other. Ms. Blake’s deft touch of combining humor with action, making sure that past (and future) characters are woven throughout the story, and red hot sex scenes make for an enjoyable read that sucks you in and keeps you turning pages. You can’t go wrong with a Lexi Blake book and this is no exception.

This was book 6 in the “Texas Sirens” series. Shelley McNamara is tired of waiting for her new life to begin. Shelley has been an abusive marriage and watching her husband die right in front of her goes to Dallas to learn about D/s relationships and to be trained as a sub. Leo Meyer is still nursing a broken heart after a year he has closed himself off to his friends when he finds out that Julian has found a Dom to train Julian he is upset and when he finds out who he choose he is really upset. Wolf Meyer has nothing to loose by moving to Dallas and working for Julian the ranch that he was working on in Bliss was bought by Trev McNamara. When he meets Shelley in person he falls head over hills for her he and Shelley have been talking by phone and email for over a month when he finds out that she is the same woman that broke his brothers heart he begins to think that maybe they can share her. When her laptop is stolen on the train she meets a man who turns out to be the same man Steve who served in the Seals with Leo and who knew Wolf turns out Shelley has something that Steve wants and the Senator that he works for. This was a good read each one of the character’s has been hurt in the past Leo who grew up fast and had to take care of his brother and Shelley by the man she married. Wolf who was hurt while serving his country all he wanted to do was to go back in but due to his injuries. Shelley had her reasons for turning Leo down but when she told him that Bryce blackmailed her into marrying him I wanted to kill him. In this book we learned more about the twin Ben and Chase Dawson Ben served with Leo and they both were seeing the same woman who was killed. When someone tries to kill Shelley they will stop at nothing to keep her safe. Shelley is a brat she doesn’t listen she tries to run twice trying to save the brothers. This was a really good read this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading about the twins and Kitten and the kind of master she will have.

This is the six series of siren in bloom and we meet the characters Shelley McNamara and Leonardo Meyers and Wolfgang Meyers. Leo and Wolf are brothers from Colorado near Bliss, and their, Ma believes in aliens and beets to protect anyone from abduction alien style. We also meet many characters from different which are a must read Bliss, and Master of Mercenaries collection and love how all the characters developed at the beginning. The song from Truly Madley deeply by the savage gardens sums up the passion and romance and the journey the characters take and how they reach a home together. Leo is the resident Dom at the club and also the resident psychiatrist and each member gets analysed and backed up with a physic to ensure their well being. Wolf leaves the navy and bliss behind to be close with his brother Leo and to mentor a new sub on the recommendation of Julian lodge the greatest medler. Shelley McNamara comes out of a horrible marriage which ended her husband dead and her husband blackmailing potential influential customers and the feds are involved. Love this caption ” and then I have away everything to charity. This is our last day in the club . It’s being taken over by society for smarter butterflies ” julian lodge when Leo was not paying attention which happen slot and the of course Tag the sanctum refurb ” it is minimalistic and in need of a hamster wheel ” I say no more I just love the characters and romance and storyline highly recommended reading.
