Bear Attraction audiobook free

I really enjoyed this book because of how genuine the author is in share her personal stories of success and setbacks. This book is written in a friendly narrative with a clear informative voice when needed. I have always been a fan of these types of books, motivational focus books. This is one that I will probably now purchase the physical form of after reading the ebook.

What I like about these book is that there is usually a new perspective or insight that I gain from the book. Or the book will remind me of something that I knew or a technique that I had forgotten about it. In this case I gained a new insight. My two favorite take aways from this book is the “hand on the heart” and journal pages. The first time I tried the “hand on the heart” technique I could feel my whole body relax deeply. Then I did it again but this time I recited some of my own personal mantras after doing the initital technique. I had the most amazing day afterwards! It felt right too. As for the journal pages, I journal every day upon waking up but I felt like I was missing something in my journaling. The two-page journal pages seem to give me the structure support that I was missing in my own journaling.

Mel is amazing and real. She is so open and real in her books. She doesn’t sugar coat and blow smoke. I laughed and cried throughout this. The take away was so empowering. Well worth the read or listen. I have the book on Kindle and now the audiobook. I started to read but found I kept stopping. Listening to the audio version kept me engaged more and wanting to hear more. She is very engaging and friendly. It is as though you are sitting with a friend on your sofa having a chat.

I love Mel Robbins and listen to her podcasts each week. I have read and listened to several of her books and am excited to share this book with the ladies in my book club! The downloadable extras will be perfect guides for sharing our individual experiences throughout the book!

This book tackles all of the mental garbage caused by self-doubt, guilt, regret, and shame and gives great advice on how to flip them into much more helpful components of a positive, self-confident mindset. Mel provides personal and relatable examples and gives specific instructions for how to get started with doing it for oneself. My only objection is the implication that self-confidence “Guarantees a Great Life”, a gross over-simplification of reality in my opinion. Nevertheless, I found it very encouraging and uplifting and would recommend it to anyone feeling down on themselves or stuck.

I bought this on Kindle and took my time reading, there is so much information, I had to take it slow. Then I read it again. Much more than the lesson of “high-fiving”, Mel really went deep into her experiences, and you know she never leaves out anything. If you are just now following Mel Robbins, or like me and followed for years, this book is a must read (imo) to learn new stuff. Again, this book is not about the one habit, it is loaded with her science-based habit fixes. I am getting the high-five journal, delivered today, for the first of the year and I am so excited.

Wow, I love Mel Robbins. Mel has an amazing way of kicking your a** but with love and kindness. I had both the audio book and the physical book on preorder and started listening to is as soon as it was released – i finished it in two days and am now on my second listen and discovering things I didn’t the first time. The physical version is now covered in notes and 4 days later I am already feeling huge benefits from implementing things in this book. It’s raw, honest, beautifully written and backed up with research and science. If you’re looking for a sign that there is more out there for you then this book is it!!
