Yet….even with a cliffy Im completely satisfied with this ending. The anticipation will make Infinite so much more satisfying. The scope of emotions that Corinne Michaels invokes while reading this book is nothing short of incredible. In my humble opinion this is her best work yet.

I absolutely love Corinne’s books. I love everything about Quinn and Ashton. Their story is fantastic. I knew going in that there would be a cliffhanger, but Corinne you just shot me through the .

Having read all of the books in the Salvation series, I have been very curious about Ashton and Quinn for quite a while. These two characters have been woven throughout the previous books, both of them super tight with the main characters of those books. We’ve gotten glimpses here and there of them along the way, with brief mentions of them being together and then not being together, so I have been dying for quite a while to finally get their story.

What a doozy their story is! These two have been circling around each other for three years now, Quinn not able to commit and Ashton finally done with waiting on him. She’s been wanting a baby for a while and since she can’t count on Quinn, she starts the journey on her own.

I have to say, out of the two characters, I completely fell in love with Quinn, which kind of surprised me. I totally expected I’d be waving my girl tribe flag and siding with Ashton, because come on, the guy has been leading her on for three years now, but to be perfectly honest, I couldn’t get on board with her. She frustrated me with her back and forth feelings and her stubbornness just went on too long. After a while I started feeling really bad for Quinn! Oy, I never thought I would side with the guy over a fellow sister!

Once they finally got on the same page and things started looking great for them, I immediately started worrying, because hello, we’re talking about Corinne here, the one who loves to kill someone off any chance she gets! But all kidding aside, it was so great to see Ashton and Quinn finally come together and be a united team.

We get to see a whole bunch of the characters from the series, which is awesome in and of itself, and if you’ve read the other books, you’ll remember an ongoing situation happening with Cole Security that hasn’t been resolved yet and plays a part in this story. AND this is book one of a duet and Corinne is known for leaving her readers with bombshell cliffhangers, so hang on tight for that!

I absolutely need book 2 now to see what happens!! Is Ashton finally going to get the happily ever after with Quinn she’s been wishing for these past three years? I am dying to find out!!

When I heard that Corinne Michaels was continuing the Salvation series and giving Quinn and Ashton their story, I thought back to all the other stories in the series that mentioned them and tried to imagine where their story would go. And when I finally read Indefinite…I was blown away. I wanted to hate Quinn. I really did. But…he was relentless, stubborn, and…pretty much perfect. His ability to realize his faults and mistakes and strive to make Ashton see that he has changed is what really won me over. “I don’t want to tear her down or allow her to fall, but I’m not delusional enough to think her trust will happen without a fight.” And Ashton, being the smart and rightly reserved woman she is, doesn’t let Quinn off the hook that easily. It’s more than “making him work for it,” she is also protecting herself. In a way that only Corinne can convey, Quinn and Ashton go through all kinds of emotions, taking the reader along willingly. This book, you guys. It will leave you gripping your e-reader until the very last word.

OMG! Now I have to wait a month!!!! It’s torture! Loved it! Can’t wait for more!!!! Nice job Corinne! On the edge of my seat!!!!!!
