Great Expectations Audiobook
Great Expectations is a classic in English literature. It is written by Charles Dickens. He was an English writer and as well as a social critic. He is also being one of the most recognized fictional characters. The man is also regarded as the greatest novelist to have come from the Victorian era. The narration of this chapter is done by Simon Prebble. Simon did a brilliant job with the characters and the story in this book. He has made a new fan base for himself who will follow those audiobooks which are narrated by him.
Great Expectations
Great Expectations is believed to be one of the most esteemed pieces in English literature and that’s why it earned the classic status. It traces Pip, a coming-of-age young orphan. He turned from a boy of shallow aspirations to someone into a dignified man of maturity. There were some definite chilling confrontations with a convict to the eerily unkempt estate of Miss Havisham. All is not what it appears to be in the dark tale dominated with the false illusions by Charles Dickens. It is also a tale where you would see thwarted desire to a considerable extent.
Pip is recruited by Miss Havisham so that he could be a companion to her cold but gorgeous Estella. This turns into a great story from then onwards.

The book is great with superb characters, especially that Pip. He is quite humble and someone known for forgiveness and self-dignity. The writing from Charles Dickens is superb and so is the vocal performance by Simon Prebble.
