ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE audiobook free
Life comes back to routine after a couple of months and then the second chaos strikes. Nazi forces take over the town and the family runs towards Saint-Malo with the precious jewel that was locked in the museum. There at Saint-Malo, Marie takes shelter in her uncle’s house which is located near the seashore. After these incidents, Anthony Doerr takes us to the second dominating character in the story i.e Werner. Werner had no proper family, he only had one sister, and their parents were not known.
From his youth, Werner was an intelligent boy because of which he was taken in by Hitler’s army. When the training was complete the forces gave Werner his first assignment to track down the resistance which is working in a hidden way against the Nazis. Analyzing the footprints the boy reached Saint-Malo where he met Marie for the first time and they felt bound with each other. Zach Appelman has narrated love and war scenes together which is always tough for the narrator. But Zach has done justice with both tasks on all levels.
