The Grapes of Wrath is counted amongst the classic fictional novel. It is written by John Steinbeck and coauthored by Robert DeMott. John was an amazing and brilliant American author. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1962. Travels with Charley in Search of America is one great book by John Steinbeck. Of Mice and Men by the same author provide the audience with an even better novel.
The narration of this book is done by Dylan Baker. It was a super performance and complete in every way. All the voices he produced felt so much close to the characters.
The Grapes of Wrath
The Grapes of Wrath book all at one is a captivity narrative, naturalistic epic, transcendental gospel, and a road novel. It is maybe the most American of American classics. This book follows a movement of a lot of men and women. It is actually about the transformation of one whole nation during the migration of the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. It is also a great tale of one exceptional farm family of Oklahoma who was driven away from their homestead. They were forced to travel towards the west which took them to their promised land of California.
With the repeated collisions and their trials against the harsh realities of this novice America, the author was able to create a good drama. You will find it to be majestic and intensely human in its moral vision and scale.
The book is packed with a very interesting tale, which can be a bit heart-wrenching at times as well. This is a type of book which will be sold purely based on its phenomenal author, John Steinbeck.
