Swan Song
The government responded hard with a nuclear attack after coming across a malevolent enemy. The situation is such that every American from the president to a common citizen will fight for survival. The very last survivors of the Earth are pulled into the ultimate battle of evil and good. This battle will go on to decide the fate of humanity. It includes Sister who finds a transformative sort of a glass artifact in the ruined streets of Manhattan. Joshua, who is a pro wrestler takes refuge at the gas station in Nebraska. Swan, who is a young girl and has some special powers travels along with Josh to a town in Missouri. It was the town where recovery and healing could begin with all the magical powers of Swan.
The book is amazing. It is a shocking vision of the author of a deprived post-apocalyptic nation that has to fight for survival. It will make you laugh, cry, yell, and horrified all at once. The author did a brilliant job and Tom as a narrator was exceptional as well.
