Aftermath: Star Wars is a novel written by Chuck Wendig. He is an American author, screenwriter, and blogger as well. His work mostly revolves around writing science fiction fantasies and some comic books as well. Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy is his best-known work so far and the subject novel is its first chapter. The book is chapter 31st of the main Star Wars novel series. Marc Thompson is a champion narrator and his work is always appreciated. The same was the case in the narration of this Aftermath: Star Wars chapter. The audience loved his flawless performance and wanted him to continue further in the series.

The second of the Death Star by now has been destroyed and the emperor has been killed as well. Darth Vader finally has struck down. There also have been some devastating blows against the Empire and also with the significant triumphs of the Rebel Alliance. But, the fight for freedom is no way near to be over. A lot of new challenges are coming in this novel of the series and the stakes are quite high for the New Republic.
The Star Wars fans have experienced 30 chapters so far in the series. They would make a comparison of any chapter or trilogy within the major series. If we compare this book with the standard set by the prior chapter of the series, then this book is disappointing. However, if you look at it individually then it is worth having a go at.
