Avengers Storybook Collection

So first things first, the only major concern about this product is the pages sticking and that is valid. What I’ll say is that the severity of the sticking seems to vary, our pages stuck, but not significantly enough to be any major hassle or damage the pages in any way. If you get a bad one, I’m sure they’ll replace it.

So with that out of the way, this book is EXCELLENT. The pictures are vivid and action packed and your kids will love them. The next best part is that the stories are actually really well written, sure its a little advanced for small kids but they’ll love listening to you read them and you won’t want to rip your hair out reading kiddy dribble, win-win. It has tons of stories, with tons of characters and is the best of these books I’ve bought by far. It’s well made overall and the stories and pictures are such that this could be a relevant read in your kids library for years, our kid is 4, I suspect we’ll still be reading this book to him until he’s at least 8 or 10 as long as he doesn’t grow out of superheroes and I mean who does that. Personally, I believe its a great investment that you’ll reap the benefits on for years to come.

The books contains a number of separate stories that are a few pages long, with lots of images to go with it. The stories all contains different marvel hero characters. My son loves this book so much that we’re having to reread it again and again after finishing the book. Highly recommend for a 5 year old.

In spite of the negative reviews of this book, I decided to take a gamble that I might receive a “good copy”. I was wrong. As so many other reviews, the pages are stuck together. I have the added bonus of the stories being upside down. To read the book. you must turn it to the back cover, and then turn the book upside down. Either the pages were inserted upside down, or the covers were turned upside down. It doesn’t matter which is is, the result is the same. This was a terrible disappointment for a 5 yr old’s birthday gift.

A good hardcover book for storytime with my son. But sadly it came damaged. Upon opening the box I noticed deep scratch marks on the metallic Avengers logo. The corners of the book were slightly crushed. Also, the initial reading was broken up by moments of delicately pulling apart pages that were fused together by metallic silver paint on the fore-edges. I regret my purchase. But the stories/illustrations brought my son a lot of joy. Essentially I paid for inner-conflict…
