Oh My!! Chosen by a Dragon is a GREAT DISSAPPOINTMENT!! Leonidas Smoke is the second born of the dragon Princes of the House of Smoke and he must find a mate that will love him and bare his baby dragonling. Its his turn, his brother Lucian has done is part. Has mated and had Larik a baby dragonling. Enters the dormant which Rosalyn Thorne her magical powers don\’t work because her and her mother have been hexed. They are referred to as the hedgewitches that live outside of a coven. Isadora Thorn had sex with a shifter and was thrown out of the coven that she and her daughter belong too. Which happens to be her daughter Rosalyn\’s fathers coven. The reason I dislike this story so much was the way the characters are written. Rosalyn runs a shop Thorns and All that is suppose to sale magical portions and artifacts, etc. She will barter the use of her body sex for services she needs. She had sex with a construction worker to get shelves built. She is trash and in my opinion nothing more then a prostitute. She tries to trap Leonidas more then once to obtain his blood to sale. Hoping that this will enable her and her mother to becomes members of a coven again an regain there magical powers. Leonidas is weak nothing like an Alpha male. He is worst then is brother Lucian who is now the King of the Dragaons. At least Lucian has an excellently written mate and now Queen in Arabella Sharp. But Rosalyn is stupid and has nothing good in her to recommend her!! This is a BIG Disappointment of a story in the Fallen Immortal series!! 1 like

The House of Smoke just found out that not only the Crowned Prince Lucian had to find True Love and sire a dragonling to fulfill the treaty, but because he and his brothers are triplets they must also do so….. Leonidas Smoke the bad boy who always loved them and left them has to find a human that will fall in love with him and have a dragonling, just as long as he doesn\’t fall in love in the process. You see when he was a strapping young dragon he broke a witches heart who cursed him for it, he cannot fall in love lest he turn into a wayvren. So when his brothers use a dating app to find him a suitable mate, he smells the witch among them and who better to fulfill his quest than a witch he will never fall in love with a witch! How will this plan workout for Leonidas, will he succumb to the little witches\’ charms, or will he be able to fulfill his duty without falling for her?

I loved Lucian and Arabella\’s stories, so I was hesitant to read Leonidas and Rosalyn\’s. I aS afraid it wouldn\’t compare. I was wrong. With Leonidas being cursed and Rosalyn being a witch, things were ever so interesting. He needs a True Love mating and a dragonling to help seal the treaty, but his curse doesn\’t allow him to call in love. That has never been a problem for him, until now. Rosalyn needs his blood to cure her mother\’s cancer. She also wants it for other reasons. She figured she can just trick him and get it. When things don\’t go as planned, she is unsure why. This is just part of their story, so it doesn\’t have a HEA, but leads you into needing the next part of the story…which is where I am. Looks like I have to distract myself for a short time first. It will drive ME wyvern!

A hundred years ago Leonidas, Prince of the House of Smoke and a dragon shifter was put under a curse by a witch. He is cursed to never fall in love but he now finds he needs to make a woman love him, mate her and produce a dragonling to renew the treaty that protects mortal from the evil elements of the immortal world. His older brother has found his mate and they have a dragonling so now it is Leonidas\’s turn to do his part to protect the treaty. When considering women, for a mate from a shifter dating site, Leonidas is drawn to Rosalyn, another witch because he figures after being cursed by a witch he will never fall in love with one. Rosalyn has her own reasons for wanting to get close to a dragon shifter and she tries using her weak witching skills but he detects them. When he finds out what she wants, he just gives it to her to make her happy and the romance begins. She has been Chosen by a Dragon and each time she tries to trick him he returns the act by helping her. At the end of this part of the story, he is in love with her and she doesn\’t love him so he is shifted into a dragon beast and leaves so he will not hurt her in his new form.

The brother of the King has a duty to have a women fall in love with him and agree to have a dragonling, finds a which that challenges him and the romance begins. Through a series of twists and turns with the witch having her own agenda that involves getting the blood of a dragon for her own purposes. The journey keeps the reader on the edge of the seat as the romance grows. The writer delivers a final twist when the dragon flies away, after rescuing the witch. Excellent read
