Dark Dream

This one is right up there on my favorites list. Sara knew about Falcon since she was 15 and a vampire destroyed her family. She knew they were destined to be together and didn’t fight Falcon about the ritual. And he did not try to compel or order her to follow his orders. A refreshing story for a perfect couple. Sweet. I loved that it brought us Raven. Mikhail, Shea and Jacques again. I love when they show up. It was great that Falcon got to go home (Carpathian Mountains) after centuries of being gone and take Sara and her rescues (children) with him. Another fantastic Carpathian story. Highly recommend.

Dark Dream was definitely a great read. It is a simple short book that I finished within a day, and wished that it wasn’t oven when it was. This story definitely deserved a longer book, but it didn’t feel like you were missing anything when it was done.

Unlike the previous Carpathian books, this particular character you have never met prior to his story. This is the first book to give a prologue and go back in time.

I absolutely loved that this book was back in the Carpathian mountains versus the states. This book also brought back characters from the previous book which I loved immensely. I have found that when prior characters come into other books they are much more likeable that they were in their original story.

Since this book was much smaller that the rest, it didn’t feel as if it had any fluffer details added. The entire book was capturing and a complete page turner filled with action.

Again, I loved that Falcon didn’t want to immediately turn Sara into a Carpathian and made it be her choice. This was an aspect I loved in Dark Fire and was very glad it was brought up again with Darm Dream.

This was also the first Carpathian book that leaves a very subtle cliffhanger. This cliffhanger I am certain will be brought up in another book and I certainly cannot wait to get to that book.

I would give it more than 5 stars, but that’s all that is available. The adventure and romance are jaw clenching, nail biting and makes you dream that you are there fighting vampires and falling in love with a Carpathian! I can’t wait to read the next one! Another great w of the Carpathian series. Falcon and Sara ‘s love story is outstanding! The storyline is not only a great read but a reciting of their lives and skill. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a great read! If I could have given it ten stars!!!
