Drums of Autumn audio is the fourth installment from the author of the Outlander novel series. It is a historical romance saga. The book is beautifully written by Diana Gabaldon. She is a fantastic fictional writer and her books span multiple genres. The books are mostly on adventure, romance, mystery, and science fiction. Seven Stones to Stand or Fall and Dragonfly in Amber are her best novels so far.
Davina Porter has narrated this novel. The performance has been quite good and the audience thoroughly enjoyed it.

Claire and Jamie are the two main characters of this novel. You will find them extremely endearing and spirited. The book is about history, romance, and time travel. The couple builds a very romance filled life for themselves and that too amid pre-Revolutionary America.
Claire is seen employing an ancient stone twice for traveling back in the 18th century. In this first instance, she found her love with a warrior from Scotland. But, she had to return to the 1940s. It was needed for the sake of saving her unborn child. The second time was some twenty years later. She managed to get reunited with her lost love. But, she had to leave her daughter behind, which he would never see. Now Brianna in the 1960s has discovered quite a disturbing obituary. She would risk everything to change history.
The novel is amazing and you will be wrapped up in the excellent characters. They are all so inspiring and vivid. You will be able to relate so much that you will find yourself in their world. Porter was so amazing with her narrative talent that you would listen to this audiobook on a loop.
