This is book three in this standalone series. You do not need to read the first two, but other characters are mentioned and/or make a brief appearance. If you are like me, you like to read books in the order the author has them, but for this series in particular, there really is no need. I’m not sure which of the three I loved the most, to be honest! Each book has completely different couples, with their own lives in different places, life issues, romance, and endings. Due to this, I love each book in a different way! Once again, Kimberly Loth, pulls you into the world she creates because she is an amazing author! This book takes place on Folly Beach in Charleston, South Carolina. Bethany Davis is a beautiful girl next door type of woman, who lost her parents and is about to lose her family home. She hates her job, but loves to dance. Bethany can’t catch a break, I swear! She ends up looking for a roommate. Jamie Green is hot alpha male, who is a photographer coming back to Folly Beach. He once did a photo shoot in the area and is looking for someone. He ends up becoming Bethany’s roommate, along with his dog, Hexa. There are some hysterical moments, especially when it comes to Bunny, the neighbor and Bethany’s best friend and her childhood’s best friend, Danny’s, trophy wife. She is a country girl, laughable, trophy wife, but very lovable, not annoying! This book and series is a must read! When Jamie finds the person he’s looking for and blurts something out, is he in too far over his head? When life keeps knocking Bethany down, how many knocks can she take before she throws in the towel? Is the solution to each others problems, helping each other? If so, are they willing to risk it?

This story was adorable. From the whole broken family aspect to the fake marriage angle. I loved the premise and the reasons that the main characters had to get involved with each other. Loved Jamie. Hes such a great guy. And Bethanys character is adorable. I wasnt a fan of the novel in the beginning, but after the 1/3 point, I loved it. I gave it a good chance because I really loved the first novel in the series. This novel did not have as much heat, which I was disappointed about, but the story was still good. I loved how it all turned out.

Audiobook Folly and Forever by Kimberly Loth

Bethany inherited her childhood home when her parents were killed three years ago. It was everything to her; every room, each piece of furniture, all held cherished memories of her parents. She wouldn’t be able to survive without it… but she wasn’t earning enough money to pay the taxes on her house… and it was going to auction in a week. She was able to find a last minute roommate that was willing to pay six months in advance starting immediately.

Jamie wanted to live close to his six year old son, who he hadn’t known existed until recently. The only housing available on short notice that met his requirements, was the room Bethany was offering. He was willing (and able) to pay anything to get it.

Sound like the perfect solution? Well… not so much. Bethany was painfully shy around men, and she had thought “Jamie” was a female.

Have fun reading this book, I sure did.

Review #4

Audio Folly and Forever narrated by Angela Rysk

Bethany was a shy woman, not confident around men. She rents a room to Jamie, who she thinks is a woman. Imagine her surprise when Jamie turns out to be a young good looking man. This book was sweet, hot, and funny. The neighbor Bunny, was a real hoot. I love this series. Even though it is about a group of men who were close friends in the same fraternity, and they are all millionaires, each book is so different. And I love how the main characters from previous books show up in each new book.
