I CANNOT BELIEVE that GRAYSONS VOW by Mia Sheridan was collecting dust on my TBR list for so long! This Sign of Love romantic standalone, featuring two virtual strangers who enter into a mutually beneficial MOC to save the heros failing family vineyard, sucked me in from page one, casting a hypnotic spell over my HOPELESSLY ENCHANTED HEART. And I am still in a starry-eyed stupor! Gah! The sizzling sparks! The fiery, witty banter! The passion. The pathos. The angst! The sweet, irresistible charm! I fell so hard, so irrevocably in love with gruff, surly ex-con Grayson Hawthorn and philanthropist Kira Dallaire, his beautiful, kind-hearted fake bride, that I could BARELY BREATHE through some scenes! I just connected instantly with both these complex, exquisitely crafted characters. The high voltage chemistry and romantic push pull between Grayson and Kira was TOTALLY OFF THE CHARTS and they smoldered in each and every exchange. I laughed at their adorable bickering and childish antics. Sobbed at their woefully dysfunctional, painful upbringings. And just ACHED WITH EVERY BEAT OF MY HEART for these two lost, broken souls to fuse their fragmented pieces together and make each other whole! This is definitely a slow burning romance to the point at times I was admittedly a bit antsy for this crazy enamored couple to get together already, but thats the beauty of Mia Sheridans entrancing storytelling. She BEWITCHES and BEGUILES and makes you live and breathe vicariously through her characters with every fiber of your being. The end result is a magical romantic concoction brimming with epic feels, rich emotional layers, deep profound meaning, and so much heart and soultruly a CAPTIVATING and RAPTUROUS romance that resonates on every level. Our belovedly grumpy Dragon and beautiful Witch were bolstered by a fabulous cast of secondary charactersmost especially Grayson\’s marvelously meddlesome housekeeper Charlotte! Her sage advice, unwavering love and support and hysterically botched matchmaking attempts warmed my heart and tickled my funny bone! And I MUST also give a shout-out to Sugie Sug…that sweet, mangled-face pooch wormed her way into my soul too. I ADORED how Graysons doting new pet played an integral role in melting the icy armor around his frigid heart! BOTTOM LINE: I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH about GRAYSONS VOWand yes, I\’m still wiping away the tears at that WONDROUS ending. Mia Sheridan truly DAZZLES from start to finish and this majestic romantic fairytale is not only officially going on my ALL-TIME FAVE list, but it once again reinforces why so many fans across the globe fall under this remarkable novelists enchanting spell time and again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It had been ages since I last read a Mia Sheridan novel. When Chan suggested this book for our next buddy read (a buddy read I again really enjoyed), I agreed. Ive wanted to read Graysons Vow for a few months now, so I was super excited to read it. This book was everything I expected and more. There are so many things I loved about this book! I cant believe I waited this long to read it. This book is emotional, beautiful, unique, poignant and sweet. It ends with a beautiful and adorable epilogue. Ill definitely reread Graysons Vow! I love Grayson and Kira so much! Grayson wasnt easy to like in the beginning, but that changed when I got to know him better. His life hasnt been easy and hes struggling now, and that makes him closed off and not-so-friendly. But hes also very determined and strong. The vineyard is Graysons focus and he definitely isnt looking for love when Kira enters his life. Grayson slowly changed and that was so beautiful to read. He really deserves all the happiness and love he has at the end. It wont be easy to get to that ending, but it will all be worth it. Kira is feisty, determined, caring, strong, honest, sweet and loving. When she wants something, she will do anything for that. Shes not like every other rich girl. Shes get along great with the people who work for Grayson. Shes kind to everybody. Kira is attracted to Grayson when she sees him, but Grayson keeps his distance. But she doesnt give up easily. Kira challenges Grayson and shes patient with him. Kira is perfect for Grayson. She loves him unconditionally. I adored Kira and Grayson together!

5 Second look at Graysons Vow by Mia Sheridan A Quick Summary Kira and Grayson are each trying to make it on their own, but they cant. They come to an arrangement. Marriage helps with both get what they want. They help each other, but he cant get past his own demons to see her love until he makes her leave. My Take on the Book : Pretty good, but I wanted to kick Grayson a few times. My Review of Graysons Vow by Mia Sheridan Let\’s Talk About the Girl… Kira, who is currently homeless and out of options. Refusing to accept help from her father, shes determined to find a way to make it on her own. Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet. Let\’s Talk About the Guy… Graysons past was really heart-breaking. Everything hed suffered through though had shaped him into a bitter, arrogant man who trusted no one. Hed been wounded so many times that his hurt and the walls hed built around himself had almost become a part of who he was. Betrayal has been too hard to overcome. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. Let\’s Talk about the Story… This is when her path crosses with Grayson Hawthorns, a gorgeous, suit-wearing ex-con whose name she remembered because it was her father who had influenced the severity of his sentence. With a record like his, he was unable to get the loans necessary to help keep his familys vineyard running. In this, she saw an opportunity, marry him. He gets part of her inheritance and she gets to stick to her father. Win win. She saw him as a means to an end and was determined not to let her heart be involved. But he saw her as a spoiled rich princess whod fallen far from her throne. Given the almost antagonistic sparks that flew between them from the start, theirs was planned as a marriage of convenience, and nothing more. Along the way, these two have tons of misunderstanding and arguments. Each one is holding on to pretty awful misconceptions about the other. Gray is a broken hero and can see past his past to the beauty that could be with Kira. I love broken heroes that battle back from disaster to find love. At times Gray is so ungrateful and awful that its hard to read. At times there isnt a shred of affection for all that Kira is doing for him, his home and his future. He does eventually see what he has done, but not before he runs Kira off. I had a wife to find and some groveling to do. I was going to grovel so hard they might need to find a new word for it.

Whenever you decide to pick up a Mia Sheridan you know you need to prepare yourself for one hell of a ride. From the very start of Grayson\’s vow I knew that this was going to be the same. First of all we meet Kira who seems to be down on her luck and withdrawing her very last amount from the bank and Grayson who is utterly defeated. What happens when the two meet? A marriage of convienence that quickly becomes inconvienent for them both. As the 2 begin to learn about each other the lines soon become blurred and sparks fly. As soon as our hearts are swooning Mia manages to pull them right out and stamp all over them. From misunderstandings to people crawling out of the woodwork the path to love doesn\’t run smooth. I adored the fun easy going nature of Kira and her crazy ideas. Grayson is alot more serious and we see just why this might be. It\’s hard to understand why he had to suffer the way he has but easy to see why he is affected the way he is. This is a story about too people on a slow ride to love and them learning to enjoy each other and let go of past hurts and humilations to be able to trust and be happy together. I absolutely loved this story and couldn\’t stop turning the pages.

If like me you decided to read another book by this author after reading Archer\’s Voice, you will be highly disappointed. I really struggled with this book, although there were some lovely moments created by Walter, Charlotte and Virgil, it just didn\’t work for me. I found Grayson seriously lacking as a hero. Yes, I understand he had been through a great deal but I had a huge problem with the way he treated Kira. Whilst I liked Kira and found her to be a genuine heroine at times, there were too many childish moments from her. The book is not terrible by any means, I but expected so much more, don\’t think I will reading any further books by this author.
