Kids often don’t like their name when they grow up because they think that it does not go well with their personality. Major Heathcliff Lennox also has this issue with his name but he does not talk about it much at this stage of his life.

Name is not suited to the personality of a man of action but still the major has no other choice. One day the quiet life of the World War hero is disturbed when he finds a dead body outside his house.

The dead body is not related to Lennox by any means and this forces him to think why the killer selected his doorstep for the disposal of the corpse. Perhaps it was a hint for other gigantic events that were about to come. Lennox at once heads to Melrose Court for the investigation but there too the hero finds nothing exactly related to the scene. However, after some time the investigations are not needed anymore because the killer starts killing more and more people and then throwing the dead bodies around.
A psychopath is at work and not tracking him down could lead to more catastrophes. Karen Menuhin changes Christmas time in an era of terror for the people. The author has written murder mysteries The Black Cat Murders and The Curse of Braeburn Castle: Halloween Murders at a Scottish Castle. This one is also not very different in theme, the length and detail however was a little different. Sam Dewhurst-Philips the officially assigned narrator for the series has tried to put a lot of effort in this first part and he has succeeded in his efforts too.
