Lee Child has depicted Jack Reacher as a lonely soul from the start who wanders here and there not in search of the job rather in search of peace. Helping others is like the following religion to him and he is there to help anyone who needs help. He fights like a machine but losing a rational approach and becoming emotional is not his way.Jack keeps his calm in every situation but that was till he didn’t see Quinn.
Quinn was once a rival of Jack who teased him to his limits, also the man is deadly dangerous for society too as he is like a plague that eats up everyone. During one mission Jack saw him dying in front of his eyes and thanked God that the devil has finally vanished from the face of the earth. But that was just the plan of Quinn to hide from Jack and operate in a hidden way from a safe house.

After seeing him alive, Jack just loses his temper and when he saves a boy from the kidnap he becomes so infuriated that he does not care about the gunshots around. Jeff Harding narrates this book at a mediocre speed. The voice also varies a great deal as compared to Dick Hill but no issue exists anywhere in the quality and clarity. It is hoped that Jeff would get better in further parts if he is given a chance.
