Practical Yoga Nidra: A 10-Step Method to Reduce Stress, Improve Sleep, and Restore Your Spirit audiobook free
I have been a serious and committed yoga practitioner for over a decade. I find the benefits of careful stretching, deep breathing, and meditation essential for my mind, body, spirit wholeness and health. I was introduced to Yoga Nidra over a year ago at my local yoga studio and immediately loved it, felt the benefits and now simply describe it as the big, deep, nap. Along with restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra is essential to my practice. To be sure this method is the most restorative in my yoga repertoire. Yoga Nidra is remarkably powerful, transformative and transcendental. Scott Moore expertly explains with a lot of heart and compassion the philosophy and technique in his accessible, knowledgeable and thoughtful book. Anyone interested in deepening their yoga practice, reducing anxiety, healing and sleeping more deeply should consider owning this gem of a book.

Practical Yoga Nidra: A 10-Step Method to Reduce Stress, Improve Sleep, and Restore Your Spirit audiobook streamming online
I started practicing Yoga Nidra at my yoga studio at the beginning of the year. When my teacher recommended this book I pre-ordered it. The book is beautiful and lays out the 10 steps of Yoga Nidra in a way that is accessible and easy to follow. I am enjoying going through the book and recording each practice, learning more about the process, and myself. If you haven\’t practiced Yoga Nidra this is a beautiful intro. If you practice regularly it will add depth to your practice.

Audiobook Practical Yoga Nidra: A 10-Step Method to Reduce Stress, Improve Sleep, and Restore Your Spirit by Scott Moore
By far the worst book Ive ever read about yoga nidra. There is nothing unique or even authentic about this book. The nidra scripts are mere fractions of what they should be.

Most of us already know that the practice of meditation is a way to reduce stress, sleep better, and experience less anxiety. While this is true, meditation can be so much more. In this book, Scott Moore shows you how to go deeper still, past all of the things that are weighing you down, either mentally or physically or emotionally, so you can see beyond the veils which have been defining you to Who You Really Are. We all identify ourselves with labels parent, child, friend, etc – but those are just labels that tell what we do, what role we play. But who is playing those roles? Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, we begin to see beyond those veils to our essential nature, how beautiful it is, how whole it is, even how wonderful it is. I know we dont usually think of ourselves in those terms, but that is because of all of the things that have colored our experience here. It is only when we can look beyond those experiences that we begin to wake up, that we begin to be aware of our essential nature, even our eternal nature, and that is what Scott helps us learn how to do through his 10-step course. Gently, and with great compassion, Scott shows you how to begin moving through the layers that hide your fundamental wholeness so you can experience the increasingly subtle layers of your being. When you begin this practice, it is important to keep in mind that this course isnt just a quick read. It is a commitment you make to yourself to spend the necessary time to build this new foundation from which you can view yourself and your life. What could be more important than that? As you work with the process, you move into new areas of your being, areas that take you a step closer to the fountain of Joy that has always resided within you, hidden beyond those veils. The beauty of this practice is that it helps you understand that you are not separate from what you are seeking. It has always been here, within you. It just got hidden behind all of these outer concerns. Ive been teaching meditation for 25 years and can honestly say that if you are looking for a way to go deeper within yourself, here it is. (The publisher sent me a copy of this book asking for an honest review.)
