It was a fast paced book, which I enjoy, although the ending was a bit soft. Everything was tied up, but it just seemed a bit light/soft. There were a number of plots & subplots through the story. There were the fire bombings of extravagant high priced cars, Rick del rio was on trial for beating up a former flame. Young women learning how to snag very old multi million dollar men looking for sweet young things to marry. A lot of strife between jack & his identical twin Tommy who had to be the evil twin, of course. And of course there were a number of Private employees having issues. Maybe there was just too much going on.

Private Vegas audiobook in series Private

I am very disappointed in this book. There were a few plots going on at the same time, some of which tied together at the end. But, none of which were suspenseful. I was bored throughout the book and finished it only because I thought it might redeem itself. It did not.

I found it strange that Private was unable to solve the criminal case against Delrio, Jack’s best friend. There was not even an attempt to explain why Private could not find evidence to exonerate him or the efforts it had undergone. It seems that a firm hired by (using the authors’ term) ” the one percent” would be able to prove Delrio innocent prior to him going to trial.

I once read that Patterson’s books were no longer interesting. I have to agree with that opinion. I have not read the Alex Cross books in years because they were so repetitive and predictable. The Private series has become the same way — the characters experience the same issues in each book, but it takes place in a different location. Private Las Vegas didn’t even really take place in Las Vegas — just a small part of one plot
took place there. I do not plan on buying anymore of the Private series — or maybe even any more Patterson books.

Audiobook Private Vegas by James Patterson Jassy Mackenzie

This book is the continuing series featuring Jack Morgan of the Private series.

This book picks up from previous Jack Morgan Private book. There are many different storylines that tie in together. If you’ve not read any previous Jack Morgan Private series books, we are given a few things from previous books so as to know more about the characters and not feel lost.

I am a fan of James Patterson, and enjoyed this book. I always like how James Patterson writes his books. They are fast paced, hard to put down. I like how he writes in small chapters. Which for me, makes easy to stop and bookmark.

I definitely recommend this book to all James Patterson fans. Also recommend to those who enjoy mystery/thriller books.

Audio Private Vegas narrated by Robert Petkoff

I wanted Vegas but didn’t get Vegas execept for one or two chapters. Most of the book was in LA…Very disappointed. Why title it that way? Oh yeah, to make more money and get more readers. You will be disappointed. Please do another Private but make it about Vegas and title it Private LA.

There were many disconnected little stories in this book. I kept hoping for more. Jack and Justine were a let-down. Del Rio’s story was probably the best of them but not by much. The car blowing up was boring. The twin brother story was meh.

Save your money and your time. Read Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die…they were 5 stars!!!!

Good book worth reading. But not as good to me as the other Private books. I didn’t think the stories were as good as they are normally with a James Patterson book. I’ll tell a little but don’t want to spoil the book for you. The story doesn’t have as many twist but a big one at the end that I think you’ll agree with. The book tells a lot of stuff you already know basically telling stuff aost word for word from Jacks past and more of him having to deal with his twin brother Tommy once again. I Was really looking foreward to this book, not as good as the others but still with reading. I’m die hard James Patterson so I’m still looking foreward to the next private and Future Michael Bennett as well as others I’ve already preordered. If you really like this kind of writing you should really check out ” The target” by Catherine Coulter. Just finished it and I must say five stars on it. First book I read of hers but definitely not last.
