I have read all three books within the Street Rats of Aramoor trilogy and wished the author had not stop the series at three books. There are a few loose ends that I would have love to see come to fruition, I cant mentioned them here as I would hate to rob anyones reading enjoyment. The story follows the adventure of a 13 year old that has been banished from his clan for committing a murder, accidentally, which forces him on an adventure to find acceptance and safety within the big city. Along the way to the city, it seems almost everyone he met fears him because of the perceived reputation of his clan, a group of efficient coldhearted merciless assassins, so it was no surprise that given his age most want to use him for their own goals. It seems that luck was never a word that cuddles him and as much as he strive to accomplish his tasking efficiently, he does it through bumbling processes and comes out victorious. The first day in the big city he was robbed by one of five street gangs, beaten and left with only his under pants. From here his adventure really begins when he found out one have to join a gang to survive or die of starvation. The irony is that the gangs are all made up of homeless, discarded, unwanted kids who are quick to part with your belongings, put a knife across your throat or bash competing gangs members. The city is a violent place where he truly learns the reasons for the children homeless plight, the need for friendship and belonging, and most of all parental love and guidance. This series depicts how kids get into gangs and the brutality ones needs to overcome to survive, while avoiding a one way trip to a salt mine, permanent visit to a dungeon or death in the streets. One cant help but feel sorry for most of the children as stories are unfold knowing they ran parallel to what was Ames place for n todays cities. I could have rated this series five stars but I feel four and a half is deserving because the series ending was just too abrupt This is a good read that can be believable for all ages

I usually read a few chapters of a book before going to bed. However, Rockslide was so interesting that I finished reading it in one sitting! I am sure that I will read it again in case I missed something the first time! I especially enjoyed some of the new (and humorous) characters included in this book. I highly recommend Rockslide (Street Rats of Aramoor: Book 3) and am eagerly awaiting book 4 of the series.

Audiobook Rockslide by Michael Wisehart

Ive read all of Micheal Wiseharts books, and have enjoyed them all very much. Rockslide did not disappoint. It was great to follow one of my favorite characters develop into the character we meet and love in the White Tower series…I found the book very entertaining, fun to read, and a page turner. It is a fantasy series and so I dont expect reality…i think the bit of magic in this particular series is quite subtle and not at all confusing or overly fantastical as it has been in some other fantasy Ive read. I cant wait till the next book in either series comes out. Im sure I wont have to wait too long . This author is very prolific and doesnt like to keep his readers waiting too long…yay!! Thanks for another great read!

Audio Rockslide narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds

This series was fairly entertaining though it was largely derivative and far too short for 3 novels. I should also point out for the author\’s benefit, that ether doesn\’t possess the qualities he ascribes to it. I wouldn\’t mention it if the author didnt fall back on using ether repeated throughout the series. Unlike television portrayals, ether doesn\’t magically remder people unconscious when shoved beneath one\’s nose. Again, I wouldn\’t mention it, other than for the fact the author relies on those magical effects repeatedly. In any event, the series is acceptable for someone\’s first attempt at writing a novel. If there is a sequel, I would hope that it\’s fleshed out more than the 3 entries thus far.

This is another wonderful book my Mr. Wisehart. I have read all of his books and have grown fond of the characters. I enjoy getting to read about Ayrion\’s trials and tribulations that have molded The Man, The Myth, and The Legend he becomes in the Aldoran Chronicles. I was given an advanced copy to read and offer my opinions. I love his work so much that I have also bought them when they are released on Amazon.
