She is one of the finest and bestselling authors of historical romance novels. She had several novels of her translated into 29 different languages. She has 19 appearances in the New York Times bestseller list. If you look at her novels then The Viscount Who Loved Me is one of her best. An Offer from a Gentleman is a historical fiction novel from the author, which is also recommended as well.
The narration of this chapter is done by Rosalyn Landor. It was an excellent narration where everything was in order.

Sophie Beckett never thought that she would be able to sneak into the popular masquerade ball of the Lady Bridgerton. Or, maybe the Prince Charming would be expecting her. Sophie was a daughter of an earl and she has been relegated into the servant’s role which was an act of her scornful stepmother. But, staying in the strong debonair arms and the extremely good looking Benedict Bridgerton, she is nothing less than royalty. She knows pretty well that all of the enchantments should end when the time turns to midnight.
It is a typical romantic story with some good moments in between. Julia Quinn proved once again that she is a fantastic storyteller. The first half was very similar to the popular Cinderella story and you will lose yourself in that gripping tale. The storyline changed in the second half but remained good. The book is highly recommended for all lovers of the historical fiction type of novels.
