It’s just a story, a well written story with some peaks. I just like to sit and listen to it because it’s good story. I imagine that it will eventually have a conclusion but until then I’m here did it

Narrator did a splendid job. I love all the accents she can pull off, she really does make the story come to live! Even with the Native sounding tongue (although I wouldn’t know if it’s remotely accurate or not). It sounds natural though so listening-comfort-wise it’s perfect. As for the story: Picks up right where book 1 ends, after Gwen influenced Ailin to not read the spell to resurrect her mother/Kajika’s foster mother, condemning their mother to shrivel to dust without the ‘life for a life’ part. That selfless act brings out the noble side of the hunters. And what follows is Cat “being hassled” from both sides, neither really understanding why she won’t choose their side. Somz are more frustrated with that than others and some can be very gentle and patient. I won’t go into detail which one of the hunters and the fae those are because well, the story has to remain somewhat of a mystery with any review. But Cat (or Catori, the “old” native hunters keep using her full name) doesn’t want to choose so she refuses to, making her both an asset to win over in this sort of battle between fae and hunters. But she can also be a person who can be shown what the other side really is about to truly understand them without prejudice and without the events of the past coloring and interfering her view on things. This is a masterpiece. The story is so good, you can’t (or can hardly) pick a side because both the hunters and the fae have their very good qualities and their bad ones. Which makes for a very intriguing read/listen. Some parts of the story seem so right that I’m awestruck for a moment. So needless to say, I love listening to this series more than once. When I wanted to start book 2 I quickly gave up because I wanted every single detail of book 1 fresh in my mind, which never has been a problem for me before but anyways, this series made me WANT to repeat an entire book before listenig to the book I meant to start and that is new to me. Usually I know enough to continue without missing anything but with this one I just needed all the rich details fresh in my mind. Same with this one. After the book was finished I didn’t want to write the review just yet because in a way that’s me moving on and I wanted to keep dreaming about this storyline. So when I wanted to write the review for this book I just had to listen to this one again first. Such lovely details in this rich world of native tradional parts and the magical fae part. And let me tell you, with how it ends, I can’t wait to start book 3!

Audiobook Rowan Wood Legends (The Lost Clan #2) by Olivia Wildenstein

I fell in love with the characters in the first book, and the second did not disappoint. The story was beautifully woven and left some twists that I did not predict. Can’t wait to read number 3!!

I thought book 1 was good but book 2 is even better. I am loving the characters and the story line and I love that I cannot predict what is going to happen. The narration is amazing and she gives life to all the characters making listening enjoyable and something I cannot tear myself away from!

This book kept the story going same as the first book and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was glad the story moved in the direction that it did! Can’t wait for book 3!
