Beautiful Player (Beautiful Bastard #3)

STORY (romance) – Hanna selects her brother\’s best friend, Will, to help her lead a more balanced life with less emphasis on grad student work and more emphasis on having a little fun. What follows is how Will, a no-strings-attached player, becomes her \”teacher\” in the world of dating, sex and love. The story is well-written and enjoyable. Will is a very successful bad boy and hot as they get! Hanna is beautiful, smart, sweet and sexually inquisitive. Their relationship progresses from awkward to sensual and ultimately very sweet. All this being said, I only rated the book a three because I like my books with more plot or character development and just a sprinkling of hot sex scenes…like maybe only 20 minutes of it in a 10-hour-book. While I wasn\’t counting, I\’ll bet there was probably five hours of sex in this book, which was way past my personal taste. PERFORMANCE – The book alternated between a deep, sexy male voice reading Will\’s perspective and a young woman reading Hanna\’s. The performances were both very good. OVERALL – Even though this is Book 3 in the series, the story stands alone. There is lots and lots of very explicit sex and sexual language as well. If you like a lot of hot, this is definitely the book for you!

I just love the Beautiful B* series. It\’s so hard to pick a favorite when it comes to these guys. I wasn\’t sure I would even like Will since he is such a player. However, he was so charming and honest that I couldn\’t help but fall for him. Like the other books in this series there is plenty of HOTNESS! Which is what I love best about this series. I just hope we get more from this fantastic writing duo.

Honestly, this is a definite improvement from the first book. Beautiful Player is about Hanna and Will. We meet Will briefly in Beautiful Bombshell when the guys are in Vegas for Bennett’s bachelor party. He is successful, smart and handsome “player”- lives by his own rules and doesn’t want to commit to a serious relationship. Then he receives a phone call from his best friend’s little sister Ziggy aka Hannah. After meeting up for an early morning run the pair strike up a friendship and find themselves meeting up daily. The more time Will spends with Hannah the more he begins to doubt his own no strings attached lifestyle. Will was shocked to see that this little sister has actually grown to be a smart good looking woman and she wants him to be her dating coach. Hanna (“Ziggy”) has been focused on her career for a long time and needs someone to “teach” her how to improve her dating life. I really liked this story. It is fun, sweet, HOT and interesting. Will and Hanna’s relationship is an absolute rollercoaster. They want each other but both of them make mistakes and are often insecure about their feelings. However their passion and attraction is just amazing!! The alternating views was perfect to ensure we knew just what each character was thinking, and helped guide the book to new depths. Each of these stories are filled with just the right combination of drama, sexual tension and chemistry, and Beautiful Player is a fantastic addition to the Beautiful Series. A complete must buy for any fan of romance with a heavy dose of smut.

I almost pushed this book into my wishlist, I am kind of over insta love stories right now, but I\’m SO glad I bought it! These books have the same sharp wit I remember from shows like the West Wing…it\’s quick, it\’s witty, it\’s cerebral, it\’s magical! This is the story of Will, friend of Bennett and Max, stars of Beautiful Bastard, and Beautiful Stranger. Will is a scientist and he is a player…well as he puts it he has \”friends\” but no one he would introduce as a girlfriend. His best friend Jensen has a problem, his baby sister is so obsessed with her graduate program that she isn\’t acting 24, she\’s acting 74! She has no life, no interests outside of school, and Jensen wants Will to show her how to balance lab work and life. Will has known Hannah since she was 12, nice kid, glad to help his buddy out….too bad Hannah grew up to be soooo hot! Hannah is a lab geek, she wears her brothers old sweatshirts and enjoys her time in the lab. When her father and brother suggest she get out and make friends and her brother suggests she call his buddy Will…well Hannah can think of worse people to hang out with than her 31 year old childhood crush! When they meet up and he calls her by her family nickname \”ziggy\” Hannah realizes this slice of man hunk doesn\’t even know her real name….okay well there went that fantasy! The book is engaging and funny and had me laughing out loud and slapping my stearing wheel….some parts are just that good! I felt there was about 2 hours of made up miscommunication drama which annoys me, or I would have given it 5 stars. If you haven\’t started the series it is highly recommended if you like hot scenes with an excellent intelligent banter and a decent plot.

Superbly written, super hot, laugh till your sides hurt funny, and then some!!! I can\’t say enough great things about this story. I couldn\’t wait until it was released, because I am a true diehard fan of all things Christina Lauren, and every \’Beautiful\’ is an instant purchase for me. I hung on every word, and laughed out loud several times–in public–yes, I couldn\’t stop listening so I just didn\’t care if people stared. Hanna and Will–I ADORE these two, and the rest of the crew make me want to be a part of their little clique. If you haven\’t already listened to the \’Beautifuls\’, shame on you! Start from the beginning with Beautiful Bastard, download them all today, you will love yourself for it!
