This book is a great addition to the series.

At first I was annoyed at the slow pace of the harem formation, but as time went on I found myself growing more attached to each harem member. The slow pace gave me time to get to know each girl, rather than having all of them at once. In harem series where the harem forms very quickly, I find it very difficult to get to know the personality of each girl, and it becomes very difficult to keep them all separate in my mind. I also really enjoy the dynamics of this harem, it has a much more romantic feel than some of the other series I have read.

As far as the magic system, it is the most detailed I have ever read. I have read hundreds and hundreds of fantasy books since my early teens, and I haven’t quite come across such a detailed magic system. I bet they are out there, I just have personally never come across any.

I would certainly like to get to know the world much better, I’m not sure how to go about that, but perhaps a small fantasy style map of the world (in the beginning of the book) would help me flesh out the world in my mind. As well as, some more history about the world and it’s important locations.

Keep up the good work, I can’t wait for the next book.

So we get more interesting gems added, some new allies and acceptance by Janel-leh’s parents. While things continue to escalate with the Korlems, there’s some new developments that complicate their plans. Looking forward to the fallout from the end of the book

This book was absolutely amazing. The action scenes and characterizations were great as always, but I also loved the espionage and the comedy of manners. The scene where they plan the wedding and Janel pretends to be a bridezilla was one of the funniest things I have read in ages.

The series has done well with building the characters and their abilities and this one takes steps to further that whilst also making a move with the bigger plot in an explosive way!
With weird, unusual and forbidden magic and a bunch or gorgeous women willing to help save the world, this series is about to get fun!

Love this series. This book gives us more unique lifelong bindings, more character development, more overbearing parents, more liberation, more great action scenes, more magic, more gems, more steampunk machinery, more conspiracy, more genies, more negotiations, and more plans for the future. Cannot wait for book five.
