The Happiness Hypothesis is a book base on psychology and mental health. It is written by Jonathan Haidt. He is an American professor of Ethical leadership at NYU. He is also a social psychologist and an author as well. His main focused areas are the psychology of moral emotions and morality. You are recommended to check out his The Coddling of the American Mind book. Another good one from the author on religion and politics matter is The Righteous Mind.
The narration of this chapter is done by Ryan Vincent Anderson. It was just an OK performance and the presentation doesn’t fit easily with the content of the book. Despite that, the book for its content is still recommended in audio.

The author explains with a lot of command and examples that why we face difficulty in controlling ourselves to stick with our plans.
